    PRESENT SIMPLE: TIME EXPRESSIONS AND FREQUENCY ADVERBS

    TIME EXPRESSIONS:

    At weekends On weekdays in my free time

    FREQUENCY ADVERBS

    Always (100%) We always watch TV in the afternoon with all our family together.

    Usually (85-90%) The children usually play video games only for two hours in the
    evening.

    Often (70-78) She often visits her friends at weekends.

    Sometimes (50%) He sometimes goes to bed a bit late because he does his homework in
    the evening and he usually has projects to finish.

    Rarely (10-15%) My sister rarely cooks dinner on Fridays.

    Never (0%) My dog never eats bones because they’re bad for him.

    I play basketball.

    I usually play basketball in my free time at about 6 or 7 in the afternoon.
