1. You have six quarters and a can of cola will cost one dollar and thirty-
five cents. How much money will you have left over?

2. James has to pay his five children for their chores. He only has thirty-
one dollars in his pocket. How much does each of his kids get?

3. Jenna is waitress and she gets tips from the customers. One customer
tipped her a dollar and three dimes, one tipped two dollars, four nickels
and three pennies and the last tipped her two dimes and five nickels. How
much money did she get?

4. If you get a dime for every pencil you sell, how much money would you
have if you sold two hundred and fifty-six pencils?

5. How much money is four dollars, seven quarters, eight dimes, nine
