The document summarizes an opinion about a journal article. It states that the research methods used in the study appropriately addressed the study's purpose of examining students' procedural and conceptual knowledge of integrals. The results indicating limited student understanding matched this goal. However, it notes that while the study identified issues, it did not propose specific solutions for improving student understanding of integrals.

In our opinion there is a match or suitability between research
methods / instruments with research problems / purpose where the method involves 25 undergraduate students enrolled in calculus II courses at the main university in the United Arab Emirates where students in this class have been introduced to the integral concept where the procedure at the beginning Data is collected from the test conducted during the fourth week, this test aims to gather as much information as possible about the procedural and conceptual knowledge of students about certain integral, which is the purpose of the study.
In our opinion there is a match / suitability between the results of the
study in the journal with the problem / purpose of the study where the objectives of the study, namely the main objective of this study was to test the procedural and conceptual knowledge of students about certain integral. And after being thoroughly obtained the results of the study, namely the results of this study indicate that students have a limited understanding of integral. The most dominant knowledge of the integral for students is the procedural knowledge. In addition, the results of this study revealed that no student said the number of Riemann in their image Therefore, it is important for instructors to review the way this concept is presented and taught in class. Obviously from the results of this study that there needs to be more emphasis on multiple representations and their connections with the definition of concepts.
According to us such research problems have been answered in
research methods conducted by involving students with their given questions related to the concept of calculus to answer the research problems carried out.
We feel a sense of disadvantage in this journal, there is no such
solution to do so that students understand the procedural and conceptual knowledge of students about integrals which are part of calculus, only that, the rest of this journal is quite good, especially in terms of effective language use so it is easy to understand We think we have no other idea to solve this problem because we feel the ideas conveyed in the journal to solve the problem are enough and very clear with a series of research methods used I feel enough to answer questions / problems in the study.
