The Pandemic made us feel that we are now, Socially Awkward.

The Pandemic has made us socially awkward, there’s little to no relevant research on
how this period of physical isolation could affect adults’ social skills, but it says in the article is
that experts doubt it’s had a significant impact on most. The awkward part, they say, is more
likely to navigate the new normal and people’s differing perspectives on how seriously to follow
precautions. The awkwardness will come from negotiating the new normal and people’s varying
comfort levels with what’s safe and what’s not. As of now, while we’re realizing the pandemic,
we feel that we are more socially anxious, impulsive, awkward and intolerant.

The first that we feel now is more socially anxious, most of us we recognize that we are
slowly eating/feeling anxiety feels. We realize our difficulties with focus, memory and sleep that
can be related to anxiety. Anxiety can fuel panic attacks, abuse and depression. These are the
most problems that can be caused by anxiety. Sleepless, which can lead to us to insomnia the
less sleep we get, the stronger our anxiety can become. Difficulty focusing, A lot of us is
realizing the focusing because of a lot of works and tasks that we need to be done on time like
doing tasks in schools while doing house chores and everything. Forgetfulness, many of us are
also having a difficulty remembering like remembering information's. Increased irritability and
anger can also fuel our emotions because of too much stress that we feel.

The second we feel now is more impulsive, in our situation many people are forced to
do bad things because of lack of foods and money and many people lost their jobs because of
pandemic. So, there are people that need to do bad things for their foods. National lockdowns
and social distancing measures are drying up work and incomes, so they are many people that
are worry of how they will get enough to get foods. Instead of coronavirus, the hunger will kill us.

The third and last we feel right now is more awkward and more intolerant , even if we
have complete family and a happy life, we can still feel that we are lonely sadness, irritability,
anger and lethargy because we’re not getting the full range of human interactions that we need,
because of pandemic. The awkwardness will come from negotiating the new normal and
people’s varying comfort levels with what’s safe and what’s not, after how many months of
mostly staying at home, interacting with people outside your house can make us feel awkward.

Taking care of your friends and your family can be a stress reliver, but it should be balanced
with care for yourself. Helping your friends and families with their stress, by providing a social
support, can also make us stronger. During times of increased social distancing, we people can
still maintain social connections and care for our mental health. Phone calls or video chats like
zoom can help us and our loved ones feel socially connected and less lonely.

In summary, the coronavirus pandemic made us feel awkward, stirred a variety of

emotions and feelings with everyone frustrations, sadness, stress, more anxiety, impulsive,
awkward and more intolerant. So, give us and everyone a strength, break and have a patience.
Take time to reflect on our own feelings and mostly Embrace the uncertainties and focus only
on the positive things. Understand the discomfort is normal and shared can help us all get past
it and stay safe. Don’t put ourselves in anxiety feels, impulsive, intolerant and awkward.
