OBJECTIVE
I will be a new graduate from Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing in
December and I am seeking a job in this unit. I chose nursing because I like
to use the science behind disease processes and health conditions to help
patients feel better.

· Cared for patients with a range of acuities from patients on ventilatory
support with open surgical abdomen wounds to patients with ascending
paralysis. Learned about the different needs of patients depending on
the type of unit, like hospice versus ICU.

May 2019 · Cared for patients with illnesses such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure,
acute kidney failure, and encephalopathy
January 2019- Rotations in the Emergency Departments at St. Francis Hospital and

· Cared for patients in emergent situations, started IV’s and observed
triage.
August 2018- Orthopedic rotation at St. Mary’s Hospital
December · Cared for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, suffering from
2018 sepsis and diabetes complications.

Member of the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing Honor society.
An organization with the requirements of having at least a 3.00 GPA and be
in the top 35% of your class.

Held many leadership positions at Virginia Tech including Vice President of


College Mentors for Kids and Historian of 4-H.
