At this position, I specialize in patient care for mom and baby on our labor and postpartum unit.
This includes phlebotomy, setting up sterile fields for deliveries, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with
circumcisions.
Registrar - Bon Secours Mercy Health: Wick Primary Care/Walk In Clinic - Youngstown, OH
March 2019 to December 2020
I assisted patients with the check in process for both primary care visits and walk in care/acute
visits. I answer phones, work with Epic computer programming, and triage patients. From March to
August 2020, our clinic was converted into a Flu/COVID-19 clinic as part of the pandemic response team
for Mercy Health.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Nursery Director at 614 Church January 2019 to present
I currently am gaining experience working with newborns to toddlers in the Sunday and Saturday
church services as the child care personnel. On any given Sunday, I can have four to seven infants to
myself ranging from birth to two years old. This position has really honed my skills working with infants
and small children.
Medical Assistant Volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital - Warren, OH
February 2016 to August 2017
Answer phones, compile patient charts and enter information into computer software, stock
medical cabinets, and aspects of patient care. Participation in patient transport, and patient admission and
discharge.
