 OPTION 1 – MONEY IN OUR LIVES

You will research some interesting / unusual money-related

traditions from around the world.
1. What is the tradition and where is it customary?
2. Who is involved?
3. Why do people do this?

You must present at least 3 different traditions.

 OPTION 2 – HEALTH AND FITNESS
You will prepare a presentation about an unusual sport or
activity.
You need to give information, such as…
• When did people start to practice it?
• Is it popular? How and when did it become popular?
• Where is it practiced?
What equipment do you need?
• Who can practice it?
• What recommendations would you give to anyone who
wants to try it?
 OPTION 3 – FOOD CONCERNS
Choose a country and research different types of crops that
are common in this place. Try to find a grain, dairy product,
a type of meat or fish and a fruit or vegetable. Then find a
food made with each item.
Present a description of each food and an interesting fact
about it (Why do people eat it, when or how is it eaten)

You must present at least 3 dishes

 EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. You will be evaluated on the quality of your presentation and the
material you bring to support it.

2. Your presentation must be clear and demonstrate your knowledge of

the topic you chose.

3. You must use YOUR OWN WORDS and incorporate the grammar and
vocabulary from the unit your project is based on.
