Digos is the capital of Davao del Sur. It is known for its colorful and enjoyable festivals.It has a
population of 169,393. Its diverse festivals offer a variety of activities and is the perfect location
for those who enjoy festivities such as Araw ng Digos.
Araw ng Digos is celebrated every 8th day of September. It is done to celebrate Digos’
cityhood. The festivity starts with “Taboan sa Dakbayan” wherein the city’s products are displayed.
This is followed by other cultural and sports activities such as “Lechonan”, “Hudyaka sa
Kadalanan” and "Pista Kadig’garan". Tourists enjoy its great and fabulous festivities.
