of this book is not exhaustive, it will awaken your ability to reflect and
put your ideas in a form that can profit many in the long run. You will
develop the ability to draw constructive lessons from life's daily
experiences. I have come across a lot of individuals who lament they
aren't gifted in the aspect of writing but that's not true. Dare to
become series can spur you to begin to write in a very creative and
interesting way. It is time to awaken your creativity. This book will
prepare you to convert your experiences to tools that can liberate
someone if you choose to step out of your comfort zone. The year
2020 has been very challenging all over the world. Nigeria has been
challenged in many ways with the Covid-19 pandemic and the youth-
led #endsars protests seeking a national rebirth from our perennial
failings as a nation. The most disheartening is that the deep state in
Nigeria has remained rigidly fixated in its agelong agenda of
subterfuge and outright emasculation of positive change-makers.
However, we can no longer be cowered. Not anymore. Thus, this
book possesses that which are lethal to the lies of people in power for
self-serving purposes. It is highly corrosive to any attitude of wanting
to remain in the same 'not-good-enough way'. As such, progress in all
good works is the expectation as a result of your interaction with this
book.

SMALL BUT DANGEROUS

I keep wondering about the human tongue, so small but

dangerous. It has been said that anyone that has the
mastery of taming the tongue can indeed be a person of
wisdom and great achievements.

How has it been with your tongue? One can indeed be

quick to hear but the best one can do after hearing is
slow to speak. Process whatever should be said, taste it
first, ensure the taste is first palatable to you, and then
you're very free to serve others.

This can save you the pain of striving to undo what can
never be undone. Oh, my folks, mind your tongue...so
small but dangerous.

KNOW THYSELF OH LEADER

When leadership is carried out with coercion and

aggressiveness it becomes pathetic and worrisome. This
might unequivocally initiate the birth of rebellion of the
followers.

Leadership can only be made meaningful when it is

carried out with the right attitude which purposefully
brings about influence. When people are influenced
they unconsciously become committed and loyal.

These are feats that can be obtained by leaders who truly

understand the rudiments of leadership.

The emphasis is not on leaders by title but on leaders who

have the burden to serve and show genuine concern on the
aspect they've been called to impact, impart, and make
positive transformation that the world is in need of.

Why do you want to be a leader?

Do you only long for the title, prestige, and fame?

How about the sacrifices? How about commitment and

loyalty? How about the growth and development of the
people? How about reproducing and giving back?

Search inward, you know who you really are...know

thyself... you can only pretend for a while.

Whatever is not adding to humanity in a positive God-

glorifying manner is meaningless.

NO ONE'S WATCHING... IT'S JUST ME

There are set rules that should be observed at any given

place but it's really alarming that abiding is such a big deal
for many. Truly, talk is cheap but living the talk is a big
deal.

*Flush the toilet after usage...no I won't, it's just me, no one
is watching.

*Obey traffic rules... no I won't, it's just me no one is

watching

*Avoid corruption... no I won't, it's just me no one is

watching.

*Help the needy...no I won't, I'll just pretend to be nice. It's

just me.

*Stay away from immoral life style...no I won't, it's just me,
no one is watching.

Let's make our Nation great…no I won't, ME FIRST, no one

is watching.

This is typical of a great number of people. The enduring

truth however, is that a better world begins with what you
and I do when we are in our natural SOLVENT that is, when
NO ONE IS WATCHING.

Do not forget that a me first attitude will not take us to

the destination of greatness and fulfillment. WE all need
to start thinking of our contribution in the puzzle of the
work that will get us to our desired aspiration.

Remember, everyone would be accountable someday.

BEING IN OUR NATURAL SOLVENT

Our true character may not be fully known at our places

of worship or different workplaces and perhaps in the
presence of individuals we crave to gain some credits.

So who are we when we are on our own? When we appear

not to be accountable to anyone?

The truth about us can be unfolded in our natural solvent.

This simply means the environment where we can express
who we really are.

In Brother Gbile's - Raising Agents of Transformation, he

explained the 'solvent' as those daily engagements that
bring out one's true character.

*Who are you at your workplace?

*How do your apprentices describe you?

*How about your dealings with your spouse? What is your

record content?

*What do your children say about you?

*Who do your neighbors call you? On and on the list

continues....

No more pretenses. No masks. No hypocrisy. No more

relationship with the old man (your natural crude self).
It's time we got serious and true such that when our life
solvent is distilled all that would be left of us would be
LOVE, SELFLESSNESS, AND WORTHINESS.

EVERYONE IS TRULY IMPORTANT

A scene took place at a particular worship center, the

outcome of the situation showed that everyone is truly
important.

At about the time the music was meant to be played, the

drummer wasn't available so the lead guitarist thought he
should fill in, the bassist on the keyboard, and so it was for
the other instruments.

The obvious could not be denied...the sudden substitute

created a scene!

I realized same goes for any organization one could

possibly think of. Just imagine your body and the way each
part functions. Imagine the eye trying to be the nose.

The lesson is never under estimate anyone, no matter

how small they might seem. Never over estimate anyone
either, no matter how big they might appear.

Respect the capacity in which each individual functions.

I'm sure you won't want to experience the gap their
absence could create?

UNHEALTHY PREFERENCE

Rejoice was quite excited upon the arrival of her cute little
angel, her life revolved around the sweet cute child. She
thought her next baby would come as she desired. But she
waited a long while before the child finally arrived.

During her waiting period her cute angel was her world but
the story changed when her next child arrived. She didn't
remember when all she had was her. The situation was so
terrible that people in her neighborhood could detect the
poor treatment the child received from her mother.

Admittedly, many parents are just like Rejoice. Many

leaders are not exempted from this selfish attitude.
Many bosses are guilty. Many of us are quick to forget
when we had but just ONE THING.

A Yoruba adage says we shouldn't throw away the reserved

water because we see the cloud gathering in anticipation of
the rain.

The arrival of a new individual shouldn't format the

memory of the one's we have always had in retrospect.
Unhealthy preference should be avoided with all
vehemence in all organizations. The importance (gifts,
talents, wit, creativity, presence, resources, uniqueness
and contributions) of everyone should be celebrated.

CONVERT YOUR ADVERSITY

As we sail through the voyage called life we may not be

able to totally escape hard times, pains, poor treatments,
and attacks from formidable enemies. That's just the way
life is!

If we look deep, our inner eyes might be made open to

see the treasure in the trash that adversities could pose.

The chain that was meant to kill a particular character in a

movie I watched was the weapon that was used to destroy
all the adversaries.

So why are you down cast?

*Jephthah's rejection by his brethren made him become so

resilient that in the end they identified him as their
Messiah.

*Joyce Meyer's adversity was converted to the platform

that has afforded her to reach out to the world.

*TD Jakes was despised due to his lisp but he's today a
renowned preacher and speaker.

*An ex - prostitute, drug addict, armed robber, and other

vices you have ever known can by the mercy of God
become a convert whose testimonies will help deliver
captives held bound by the enemy.

Friends, let's choose to be resilient, convert all our

adversities into God-glorifying virtues, and altogether be
the light that swallows up the dark forever. TRULY
TREASURE CAN EMERGE FROM OUR TRASH

WHY COMPLAIN? MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!

George lamented 'how can the surrounding be so

unkempt?' Amanda nagged 'why would they think I
should do all the chores?' 'Alone' lamented "I'm the only
one who seems to be doing right in this environment".

When we aren't comfortable with the situation around,

complaints spring from the whole fiber of our being but of
what good are they if solution is ignorantly abandoned in
the oblivion?

When Ida Scudder visited her father who was a missionary

doctor in India, she had an experience where three women

died while giving birth. The situation made her resolve to
go and study medicine in New York in order to save the
lives of women and children in India. She further started
one of Asia's oldest teaching hospitals, The Christian
Medical College and Hospital, Vellore India.

What would you do about that unpalatable situation? Ida

gave up everything to make the difference. Sometimes
we may need to give up self, our pride, prestige, fame,
and certifications.

No more complaining. Let your impact be felt. Do your

own bit. No more victim mentality... we are well able,
well equipped, and possess the worthy character to make
things better in our family, society, in the body of Christ,
and globally.

THERE IS SIMPLY NO LIMITS

Christopher Duffley got me startled in the affirmative

declaring that his physical disabilities cannot stop him.

He was born blind and autistic as a result of his parents'

drug addictions.

'I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength'

has been a holy bible quote that has got me thinking really
deeply. If this is true, there's therefore no limits to the level
of success one can achieve in life.

Brian Tracy remarked that "whatever success one has

accomplished is only a shadow of what is truly possible".
The deduction from this statement can therefore say the
human brain if allowed to explore its full potential can be
an amazing medium of unbeatable transformation.

Whenever you realize you aren't doing more (making good

progress), never think it's because your brain is weak. It's
just because you've unwittingly put fear to play, agreeing
you've reached your limit, and thinking there is nothing
more to be done.

God has the power to enable. When God is put first,

there is simply no limits.

THE HONOUR OF A KING

'Ignorance' sat down by the balcony, with eyes wide

opened. He muttered 'the prophet said I'm a king'! He
gazed up in the sky with an impish broad smile and said
'now I will show the world what the honour of a king really
is'.

He rehearsed 'upon sighting me from a distance, all the

women would fall on their knees. The men lie flat on the
ground. The children do same and maintain a perfect
silence. He added 'I make all decisions. No one dares
argue or ever questions my authority. In sum, I become the
all in all'! Then he laughed out very loudly like one that
never will give account.

Immediately, a voice demanded ' could that really be the

honour of a king'? It further added ' how ignorant are you
just as you're called?' The honour of a king is not in all you
have listed. The honour of a King is to SEARCH OUT A
MATTER.

You need wisdom, knowledge, insight, revelation, to rule

and govern your people so that you can earn their respect
and honour. But the contents of your heart do not identify
you as a king at all.

For many who aspire to be leaders, it is time you went on a

quest to really ascertain what the honour in leadership, or
being a 'king' truly means.

WAKE UP

Wake up to the reality of the dawn!

Nothing happens if you don't take a step. You need to

make that move right now.

You're free to admire success in others but you have to

make a choice to become A SUCCESS.

There is actually no limits to what you can achieve.

*Immorality would no longer have dominion over you...if

you'll genuinely cry out for help from God.

* That weight can become a thing of the past... if you make

a choice to shed it.

*You can be a political leader whose record is 'CLEAN'...if

you make a choice to embrace godliness with contentment.

*You can make the move to first become the change you
desire to see.

*just make the move - to write that book; do that song, get
that degree, break the bad habits, talk to that lady, say yes to
that good man, love the unlovable, and you know, just do
that thing that will make God SMILE.

Wake up to a New Dawn!

STILL BELIEVE IN HARD TIMES

One of the mind blowing things I have discovered is the

act of believing that something good can come out of
things the human mind would despise outright.

To still believe in hard, gloomy, and perilous times can be

truly hard but it's the best option one can adopt. When the
music all around says 'there's a casting down', one can
choose to let the music be 'there is a lifting up'.

Typically, it may be unreasonable but it pays off to move

with the positive rather than the contrary. That's exactly
my activated mood at the moment. I just feel you'll
appreciate doing same.

You might have been rejected. Criticized negatively.

Downtrodden. The state of the economy might even be
driving you crazy and you might be sinking deep in the
dark waters of debt. Your age might look like a terrible
barrier to your opportunities, your health might be failing,
on and on the list could continue... but you see, all these
things make living interesting if and only if you choose to
believe.

Testimonies lurk up at the tail of all these tests. Only

believe in what God can do. Indeed, a good thing has
come out of Nazareth! It's just a matter of time for
people to begin to say come and see!

WHEN THEY DON'T LEAVE

Joel Osteen gave the narrative of how they had a technical

director who came in from another part of the country to
help out in their ministry. He was quite excellent at his
point of duty, but there came a day the man made it clear
that he needed to leave.

So disappointed, Joel thought that would be the end of the

good work but how wrong he was. The situation brought
out the best in Joel afterwards such that he became
grateful that the man left.

* Jesus Christ had to leave physically for the appearance of

the Holy Ghost.

* A baby has to leave the womb to become a full grown

human.

* So why have you been holding on to the things you ought

to have let go? Why are you still in that habit killing you
secretly?

* The former governor of Lagos state had to leave for the

new one who's now working assiduously to reduce traffic
congestion (what a commendable endeavor)... who would
have thought Berger - Iyana Oworo hold up would become
a thing of the past? (An article posted during Governor
Ambode tenure)

* How about RCCG? The dream fulfillment found

expression after the founder left.

When some certain things don't leave, one becomes

drawn away from discovering the real thing, purpose,
and all that one has been created to do and become.

When they don't leave, one would be left in the dark

shadows of oblivion... make up your mind to let them go
in order to discover some endless possibilities that would
blow your mind.

THE SQUATTING MOMENTUM

There are usually lessons in the things we experience

daily. A friend analyzed how one requires to squat in an
attempt to jump in order to attain a reasonable height. I
began to think on it and found that it's really true.

Whoever wants to truly go high in life must first

appreciate the place of humility... going really low to get
elevated. Going low doesn't connote being weak, in fact
it shows the level of strength one has attained in life's
journey.

It is usually when we agree we know nothing that we can

truly learn. It is only when we accept that we are saved
by grace but not by works that we are indeed saved. It is
only when a seed is buried in the ground that its
potential can be fully expressed, and same analogy goes
for many issues of life.

The squatting momentum is simply saying for anyone to

get to the place of honour the aspect of going low in sincere
humility can never be downplayed. No one can fake it.

If you keep standing when you're meant to be kneeling

you alone will have yourself to blame for all the
unpleasant delays.

Let's all embrace our squatting moments for the

momentum inherent can indeed take us to a height of
uncommon success.

MATURITY

Mature is a noun derived from the Latin word Maturus and

it means timely, ripe, and fully grown to have attained a
mental or emotional intelligence etc. Maturity is an
adjectives which means a state, fact, or period of being
mature.

Does maturity truly comes with one's age? Is it truly a

function of how old one is? How can we fix maturity in its
proper perspective? Here are a number of questions
deeply yearning for answers.

Admittedly, maturity may not come with age .It's

basically the level of wisdom one has acquired during
the period of a lifetime.

If it's a function of age we won't have members of the

house of assembly hauling insults on one another.

There won't be people living in unrepentant immorality?

If one is truly mature one will choose to do the right thing
at the right time.

True maturity keeps one's anger, hot temper, resentment,

jealousy, backbiting, indecision, laziness, instability, lack
of integrity, and all the negatives at a permanent distance.

There is no way maturity can solely be a function of how

old one has become. Nevertheless, it can be viewed from
the level of wisdom one has chosen to acquire in sincere
humility and how much an individual has decided to
crucify the flesh in order to attain the fullness of Christ.
The consciousness of the character of Christ in one's life
can better explain what maturity means.

DON'T BURY

Some profound illustrations about life issues are clear

inferences that some certain things are not meant to be
buried.

Prophet Jeremiah was told to get a cloth after which he was

instructed to bury it in a rock around the River Euphrates
but upon his return to get the cloth after a while he found
that the cloth had been ruined by the elements.

Don't wait till things get perfect, whatever can be done

should be done in good time.

You don't have to wait till examination period before

reading up your texts and notes.

*It might be too late when one waits till one is married
before learning how to manage one's self not to talk of a
spouse.

* There is no point waiting till you become a Bill Gates

before you give out to the needy.

*It is absolutely unwise to wait till you're invited to a big

event before you showcase your gifts and talents... you
can start from your classroom, neighborhood, or local
assembly.

*Why should you wait till your wife gives birth before

you love her like Christ loved the church?

*Why should you wait till your husband gives life

luxuries before you become submissive?

*You don't have to wait for a political appointment

before embracing integrity and transparency.

You see, practice they say makes perfect. If you don't

maximize fully what you have per time you'll be
surprised at how moribund it would become. When
candle is kept under an opaque cover the room is
deprived of illumination.

There are absolutely some things that must not be buried.

Choose to be obedient and start doing what you were
created to do while you can still breathe.

PARENTING - WHAT COULD IT BE?

Parenting could be described to be (or act as) a father or

mother to someone. What does parenting as a role
connotes?

Could it be issuing THREATS from time to time?

Raining INSULTS and CURSES? Could it be a constant
YELLING? Could it be an endless reminder to a child

that you GAVE BIRTH to him or her? Or a constant self-

absorption that one is OLDER than the child? Could it
be ISSUING ORDERS that must not dare be
questioned for any reason?

If this is parenting, there is then no way through which

parents would ever find their way in the maze of lording
negatively on their children.

Children exposed to these kinds of parenting would turn

out to be resentful, pretentious, timid, deadly, angry, in
some cases, worse than their parents.

Bullying will never achieve the purpose of a positive

legacy in a child. A child should be disciplined,
admonished in love, but not bullied or terrified into
submission. As the bible says train up a child in the way
he should go and when he is grown will not depart from
it.

Dr. Justin Coulson pointed that “Force creates resistance.

But great relationships build autonomy, which allows us to
leverage trust which builds massive influence”.

What kind of a parent would you like to be?

REDEEMING THE TIME

Why do we keep making excuses for not doing what we

ought to do in life? Time they say waits for no one. If this is
true it means for all the occasions we trivialized what we
ought to do, amounts to robbing our lives of valuable
opportunities that would have made a whole world of
difference.

More often than not, we justify why we aren't productive

- I have a young child. I'm married. My wife needs me.
No money. My parents failed me. I'm too young. I'm a
woman. No one will support me. I've lived a rough life.
They just don't like me. I blew my first opportunity. I'm
not just worthy. I just want to play it safe. There's
nothing more for me to do because my time is past...on
and on the list goes.

If this is typical of you at the moment, you have to get up,

get back to your God-glorifying position, start redeeming
the time, and ultimately become a blessing. I don't belong
to the school of thought that would psyche you up and
leave you empty....You can do all things through Christ that
enables you (and everyone who chooses to believe).

No more excuses, no more self-condemnation, no more

limits, start redeeming the time.

A CALL TO REFOCUS
On my way out some time ago, I got somewhat uneasy by
the things running through my mind such as the increasing
commodification of women in the entertainment industry.
I thought about how the entertainment industry has so
reduced women to nothing but sexual object.
I see music videos where the men are fully cladded but the
women are very near naked. You see, the matter got me
really startled...what is the motive behind this aberration?
Sometimes you hear people say that's what the production
manager wants.... Don't we have production managers
with sane reasoning faculty who can effect a change over
this crazy trend?

This ill has however, given a great number of women

wrong sense of reasoning as many of them feel the only
way men can appreciate or even fall in love with them is
by seeing sensitive parts of their bodies. On the contrary,
don't women fall madly in love with men without the
men first exposing their bodies?
This is thought provoking.... Women really need to
refocus their thought pattern.
Men and women must choose to refocus for the embrace
of worthy values.

THE WEAK WILLED WOMAN

What do you really want?
Although, there are exceptions to the rule, it has been
found that most men really know what they want in a
relationship unlike women.
O Woman, what do you want in life?
Why do you give in to anything?
Why does a little, infantile, superficial gesture from
strange men make you become unable to remember who
you are?
Why does anything goes with you?
You are too precious to be tossed by all kinds of wind.

You have to establish your root like the palm tree, such
that after life's hurricanes, tsunamis, and tornadoes you'll
be found still standing. Though bent sometimes but
after a while, you'll be straightened up with head held
high.

Don't be weak willed - know what you want!

A LITTLE PATIENCE
Laraba couldn't hide how disappointed she's been with
her little girl's academic performance. She complained to
Weizi how frustrated she's been.
With a grin, Weizi calmly narrated the lesson she learnt
from her slow running tap, after which she went skipping
for her morning exercise upon getting to the bathroom she
found that the bucket was not only full but was running
over. All she could do was smile.
Delay may not particularly mean denial but I understand
it can be really tough facing the mountain of delays.
A little patience with your child can make a whole world of
difference. Take it easy with that apprentice he will get
better. A little love towards your neighbor can make better
the relationship. A little patience with your spouse can add
some honey that would neutralize the bitterness in your
relationship, and you know, just a little patience would do
in many situations of life.

After we have suffered for a while, patience will make us

perfect, established, and take us to our desired
destination. In the end Laraba's daughter became very
cerebral and everyone could not help but appreciate the
place of a little PATIENCE!

SHE STOOD FOR HER PASSION

Anatu and her childhood friend debated the school her
young son would begin in his education pursuit. And she
emphasized 'I would be very appreciative of a
Montessori'...her friend remarked what is it about
Montessori?
Maria Montessori was born (in 1870 in Ancona, Italy) at a
time when women were not particularly reckoned with,
no matter the salient value of whatever they wanted to
bring to the table, it might not be accepted just because
of their gender!
Despite the odds, she made her mark on the sands of time
in her day. She was the first female physician in Italy. She
brought a remarkable contribution to education in Europe
and she made effort to spread it round the world. Today,
when quality education pattern is mentioned it won't be
complete without reckoning with Montessori.

So any time Montessori is mentioned, remember a

passionate person who decided to contribute her quota
to the betterment of our world. She had children interest
at heart and she made effort to affect how they can be
effectively educated.
What exactly are you doing to add value to your life and
humanity at large such that posterity may identify you as a
force to reckon with?
Maria Montessori said 'Within the child lies the fate of the
future'...hmm...what exactly will you be known for?

SHE THOUGHT DIFFERENTLY

Caring for children with disabilities can be somewhat
challenging. It takes patience, resilience, and faith to show
unreserved commitment when parents, especially
mothers find themselves in such a situation.

Remember, situations as these do not connote God

doesn't care, or He simply wants to judge iniquity. Very
often, it could be an avenue to learn, appreciate the gift
of life, and to also become humble, never despise
individuals in such situation.
Maria Montessori initiated a scientific approach on how to
educate mentally handicapped children.
Record said that these children behavior changed from
wild and unruly to proper, graceful, and diligent.
She also coordinated day care centers for young children.
She was active on matters that affect women, child labour,
and generally on peace keeping.
She was able to see the challenges through the prism of
possibility, improvement, and hope. We live in a world
where one's thought pattern if well harnessed and
nurtured for the betterment of humanity can help create a
better world. At a time as this, women need to think
differently from the conventional manner.

AGE IS NOTHING

Age is nothing. Your resilience is something. Your choice

really matters. It's your responsibility to make your
choice but not the consequence. Your determination is
absolutely crucial, and your faith must not be
compromised.
Grandma Moses found her passion at age 78. At the age of
100 she gave a splendid presentation of the evergreen
"Twas the night before Christmas" by Clement Moore.
In 1950 she was recognized as one of the five most news
worthy women. At the age of 88 Mademoiselle magazine
awarded her the prize of the woman of the year. She was
awarded two doctorate degrees including other noble
awards, and she published her autobiography titled 'My
Life History'.

Here is a fascinating excerpt from her book: "I look back

on my life like a good day's work, it was done and I feel
satisfied with it. I was happy and contented. I knew
nothing better and made the best out of what life
offered. And life is what we make it, always has been,
always will be".
What more can we say? Please get up, get out, and get
blessed... the earnest expectation of the creature is indeed
waiting for your manifestation.

WOMAN, WHY HAVE YOU REFUSED TO BE

HEALED?
Life hauled all kinds of stones at her. The pains over her
failed expectations could not find the elixir for healing.
She decided to build a wall around her wounded heart. She
did not bother to make provision for a door or a small
window for the rays of hope to flash through. She decided
to embrace a world of total darkness void of zest or
strength. Her faith has been choked to death. It appears
there never will be an opportunity to live again. Even
when the grave was not calling her she got herself prepared
and got headed to commit herself to the ground by herself.
She desires the place of no hope. She looked at the world
and all she could see was cruelty. She focused terribly on it.
She concluded that all she would ever have on this side of
eternity would be peril. She never believed her world
could be lightened up again.
Woman, why have you refused to be healed? Who lied to
you that someone isn't thinking about you. Who lied to you
that you aren't desirable? Who deceived you that nobody
wants you? Who said you have gone too far to be
redeemed? Who said love, life, and hope can't find you?
The consequence of your poor decision cannot be
controlled but I can tell you that you have the power to
make a new choice to embrace hope again. There is
healing for you. Someone is looking for you to give you the
pleasure of living in the realm of healing again.
Generations are crying to emerge through you,
You can be healed. No circumstance can contain you o

woman. Reach out and grab what is yours. The choice is

yours!

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN

Very often when the term virtuous woman is mentioned
the next thing that comes to mind is a woman of moral
excellence. A good number of the narrative emphasizes
sexual purity but the virtuous woman is an all-
encompassing feat that describes a well-rounded
abundant living of a woman. Just like one cannot become
an Olympic champion by mistake the feat of our discussion
cannot be attained be mistake.
Hardly would one come across a woman who doesn't desire
to be addressed as a virtuous woman. Another way to
rephrase this theme is a woman of virtue. There isn't much
difference between virtuous and virtue. The former is an
adjective while the latter is a noun.
VIRTUOUS: Good, ethical, innocent, chaste, blameless,
clean-living, effective, honorable, faithful, righteous,
straight, worthy, without reproach, moral etc. MORALLY
EXCELLENT. VIRTUE: Honor, integrity, character,
incorruptibility, respectability, rectitude, righteous,
probity, prudence etc. According to my oxford dictionary
moral is concern with principles of right and wrong or
conforming to standards of behavior and character based
on principles.
This of course makes this topic of discussion truly
fascinating because as I minister to you I minister also to
myself. Get this clear, the virtuous woman is not a feat that

just drops on one's lap by chance. It must be earned. For

you to earn this title you must deliberately, intentionally,
and consciously work towards it. It feels so good to be
identified as a woman of virtue but the process is a lot of
hard work.
So I have been sent to a woman who is all set to rewrite the
narrative of her life. Yes, my message is to a disrupter of the
status quo of the whole her existence. I come to address
women who are ready to change the trajectory of their
story. The virtuous woman is a calling no one can afford to
ignore. It is time to answer the call.

AVOID BEING LEGALISTIC

When people find themselves in a legalistic environment
many tend to play the impostor. Some would try to play
along in every way they possibly can but deep within they
are nonconformists.
In some legalistic organization they give rules as:
* Females are expected to be on skirt, head well covered,
no makeups, no shaking of the bodies when walking, and
so on. The question is who do these women become when
they are out of this environment?
* The males must not wear the attire of the world, no jeans,
no haircut style, shirt buttoned up to the neck, no
perfumes and so on. But are they this way outside this
organizations?
* The opposite sex must not sit together, no talking or
laughing together, the atmosphere must not be polluted by
their coming together, and so on. Do they maintain this
sacredness outside?
I really do not have a problem with legalism, the only fear
that keeps haunting is are the minds of these persons
renewed? Can they sustain these rules in their natural
solvent?

The renewal of the human mind can provide the

perfection these legalistic organizations yearn for. A
woman that has been schooled by the Spirit of God will
never entertain indecency in it slightest form same goes
for a man. They all don't need to be confined in a box of
legalism.

Renew their minds and they'll be changed from within

to without... the best the law does is to kill but the Spirit
of God liberates from legalism.

THINKING ON PAPER 1
After one accumulates refuse and feels it should be
dumped in the drainage channels, wouldn't that person
be doing the environment so much damage with terrible
consequences on sanitation and quality of human life?

Lesson:
*When flood sweeps through your neighborhood and your
drainage is completely blocked by all kinds of refuse what
would you do? Our leaders are still trying to fix the
economic challenges and we as responsible citizens can
help out by protecting our environment even while we
exercise our socio-political and economic rights.

When parents practice all sorts of unworthiness before

their children I wonder how they expect something
different from them
Lesson:
*Parents may just need to practice what they preach. Be
the good example they desire to see in their children, and
most of all remember they'll be accountable someday!

Envy is an ailment that arises when the victim becomes

blinded to the good that are in him/her. When people
feel all they should have is in someone else they suffer
mercilessly from this psychosocial ailment because of
their inability to behold the wondrous☀ things that are
locked up inside of them.
Lesson:
*Whenever you become envious just remind yourself that
you aren't looking inward to see how blessed and precious
you are and then strive to defeat this mean ailment with all
vehemence!

THINKING ON PAPER 2
You become what you practice daily. So be careful of what
you do with yourself every day. The advice is keep up the
worthy things that would consequently make our world a

better place.
I found that it pays off to be calm with people even when
they act in the manner that should make one mad. This
shows that one is stronger and one won't give in to anyone's
nastiness such that one becomes like them.
Sometimes the cloud becomes so dark that one might feel
the sun may never shine again but after a while the sun will
surely come up. Don't ever think hard times would last
forever...better days surely lie ahead if you keep faith alive.
The true value of a light is appreciated when it is allowed
to shine. Whatever gifts and talents you have failed to
express to your world would be accounted as failure on
your path.

ANALYZING THE WITNESS

Teaching on this exceedingly important subject, my dear
shepherd in the hallowed sanctuary in my place of
worship, Pst Niyi Ajibola explained the biblical concept of
a witness as one that has taken quality time to burn the
midnight oil seeking God's presence.

A witness can be described as one who sees an event and

could testify. Christians have been called to be witness
with evidence from biblical documentations, a true
relationship with Jesus Christ, and total dependence on
the Holy Spirit.

It is not about church attendance or religion but mainly as a

result of God's LOVE for the world (Humanity). By
witnessing Christ in words and deeds will eventually bring
forth healing, restoration, deliverance, and much more.
But why aren't we witnessing?
* Many gain knowledge but the inability to comprehend
cannot allow effective application. As a result, the world
cannot come to easily accept the information they want to
pass across.
* Our inability to understand what it means to call Christ
our Lord. If He is indeed our Lord, it means He owns us
completely and it implies that we do only the Father's will -
n o m o r e h y p o c r i s y, a n g e r, l y i n g , r e s e n t m e n t ,
unforgiveness, immorality, fearfulness, hatred, corruption,
lovelessness, pride...the list is endless.
* Witnessing can be done via the word of mouth, our
character, our lifestyle, behavior, and some other things
that one may not pay much attention to. Reminding
ourselves always that those who practice unrighteousness
will not see God's kingdom which is why the ultimate goal
of a true witness must be to continually espouse and live by
the undiluted gospel of Christ.

THINGS I'VE LEARNT LATELY

*Your life can never be better than God would make it.
So don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself self, don't
get overly offended, don't focus your attention on the
oppositions...it pays off to stay in faith, hope, and
ultimately LOVE.

* "Nothing is as rewarding, satisfying, or encouraging as

loving others through your words or action" (word for
today). Someone may ask what if they don't accept my love
but treat me badly? Should I continue loving? Yes, you
have to, for that is the true essence of living. One can never
go wrong in loving as commanded by God. Just ask for
strength and discernment.
*Assumption is a subtle killer of true fulfillment in
relationships. Very often than not, we draw conclusions
from our assumptions...these could explain:
✔she didn't greet me, who does she think she is? Did you
bother to check on her to know why? Why can't you greet
first and see what happens?
✔Hmmm...he didn't remember my birthday... I'm sure
he's seeing someone else. Did you try to know why by
calmly asking?
✔She knows that I love her...I can't keep going through
the childish cycle of saying 'I love you...' Really, can you

yourself cope with a woman who never deems it good to

express her love in words and actions?
Lesson: Choose to be responsible at all times to break the
ice rather than assume and keep nursing some unprintable
things in your heart.
* Make room for your children to grow up! Why wanting to
save the day at all times? You aren't God. You cannot give or
keep doing everything for them. Sometimes a calm but
firm NO can save them from impeding destruction.

BECOMING A GARDEN OF HONOUR

It has been observed that a garden usually consists of
cultivated plants. As the phrase goes 'everything in the
garden is rosy'.
How can one liken his/her personality as a garden? It
could simply mean living a life devoid of 'weeds'. Weeds
can be described as unwanted wild plants usually in
competition with the cultivated plants.
The cultivated plants in one's life are those honourable
traits one has built as a result of deliberate conscious
efforts. The 'weeds' can be one's old poor traits, those
things that make one really ugly and undesirable.
I personally don't want my weeds to see the light
anymore... I got them annihilated and I'm doing
everything possible for them never to rise again. I feel
you could do same too.

Anger is a nasty weed that could subtly sprout in one's

garden at a time one is completely unaware, this is the
reason why weeding must be a regular endeavor. Anger
can really make anyone ugly.
* Let it be replaced with understanding, patience, and
compassion. Get to a point where nothing would really
matter to you but showing love to all be your watchword.

For your garden to maintain its honour ensure the

continuity of regular weeding and I promise you'll love
your life.

KEEP TRYING... YOU'LL SUCCEED

You won't like to come across a leopard that has been
hunting in over 3 days without success! You wouldn't want
to imagine what the eye of a tiger that hasn't eaten in the
last 4 days would look like!
One could soliloquize 'but they are strong animals, why
can't they get food to eat'? Little did you know that
sometimes it's not by power or might. As a matter of fact,
the Scripture says the race is not to the Swift!
Sometimes one might be exerting so much strength but
success might seem so far away... would one give up?
Nope! Keep trying, success is on the way.

Those strong animals could go hungry for days, go

hunting without success, but dark days don't last
forever...they can be likened to dark shadows that will
pass away. As they go hunting they usually prevail and
come into abundance...if only they keep trying.
As it has been revealed in many wild life documentaries
that being consistent and unfazed by previous failed
attempts at hunting for food, the wild cats eventually
achieve success.
Lesson: The year might be fast winding up. Your dreams
are yet to come through. Hope seems to be fast waning.
Hunger is almost getting your intestines twisted, and
you're about giving it all up. Don't throw in the towel, keep
trying, you'll succeed...this is the time of COMPLETE
RESTORATION!
Those that trust in the Lord shall never lack any good
thing!
Stop the frowns...keep the smiles

ACT THE MOVE

Let those who are lost in the wilderness of imagination
trace their way back. Let those who have been deeply
immersed in the realm of wishful thinking wake up and
smell the coffee. Let him who aspires to be relevant rise up
and get into the reality of making dreams become a reality.

I pondered the story of the woman with the issue of

blood. That single act of hers can never be rubbed off
the sands of time. As a matter of fact, an account on
Jesus Christ would never be complete without reckoning
with her shameless act of resilience and never dying
faith.
It's high time we did things differently from how we used
to. Never wait till coming year before you start to act the
move. Believe me, the woman with the issue of blood got
healed as she thought and was evident as she made the
move.
Everyone can do same, get yourself into her shoes, look at
everything you want to achieve squarely in the eye, and
watch what happens.
No more fears. No more delays. Let's bring our aspirations
to reality. Act the move...the DOING
Mode activated!

REMEMBER!
Very often, many individuals think they deserve every
blessing (especially the physical world gains) that come
their way but how wrong they are!
On the other hand, are some who despise those they feel
are yet to be blessed, or measure up to the standard they
reckon with but how myopic they are!

you've done...see them as off record!
Remember, what you see today may be out of sight
tomorrow
So be careful whenever the human pride and arrogance
subtly crawl in to make you think less of anyone...call
yourself to order and REMEMBER!

THE WICKED BRAINWASH SCHEME

An unexpected tragedy struck in December 2016 at an art
exhibition in the city of Ankara in Turkey during which the
Russian Ambassador to the country was shot dead during
his presentation by an apparently radicalized off duty
Turkish police officer.
The Police officer who was later shot dead screamed
'Allahu Akbar' and the same lamented the plight of Syrians

in the besieged city of Allepo after the conclusion of his

hideous act.
This act is mind troubling! How could a young man with
many prospects end his life's journey in a wicked shameful
manner? How could people allow themselves to be so
brainwashed?
It may not be contestable that these individuals are lured
by their own lust!
No doubt, Russia's role in the intractable Syrian conflict
has been deeply controversial and condemnable, same for
the role of other powers in the conflict. However, the
human life is so precious to be subjected to such hideous
act as carried out by the Turkish Police Officer.
There is a need to be vehemently wary of the wicked
BRAINWASH SCHEME that has eaten into the fibre of
the being of many young people especially in the Middle
East.
This is no loyalty to God. There is no reward either on
earth or paradise for anyone who engages in this act. Don't
be deceived. This act is barbaric and completely ungodly.
Be warned... let's all make the world a better place.

THE MOST IMPORTANT MAN

The story of the mad man of Gadarenes is embedded with
so many lessons that are not exhaustive. Who would have
thought that the mad man could turn out to be the most
important man in the country after his singular encounter
with Jesus Christ the Son of the living God?
The mad man who could not be tamed by all means
possible fell down to worship Jesus as he sighted Him from
a distance. In the end he took the gospel through his
country.
There are so many gifts to be received during Christmas
but we must all be sensitive and deliberate about getting to
possess all that belongs to us.

CHRISTMAS is a season to understand God's unfailing

love for humanity. It's a time to show kindness. It's time
to share. It's a time to replicate the personality of Jesus
Christ such that someone would ask 'are you Jesus?''

This is the time for us to understand who truly the most

important person is. The mad man of the country of
Gadarenes became the most important because He
understood what gladdens the heart of God - Evangelism.
Finding your true importance during Christmas season
would be really worth it...are you truly replicating this
Jesus?

BEING THANKFUL
Going down the memory lane with the year...how time
flies! Same may just be typical of the way somebody out
there feels.
The ups and downs were there to strengthen. The
valleys were also there to make one stronger. The year
was loaded with lots of challenges for a good number of
people but somehow ways of victory were paved in the
midst of it all!
I'm still standing. I can't explain how it feels when I
looked through my calendar to confirm its 31st of
December. I thought about some of the occurrences
during the year:
*Suicide bombings. Outbreak of diseases like Zika virus,
Avian influenza, Rift valley fever etc. Sudden deaths,
kidnappings, aircraft crashes, road accidents, railway
accidents, domestic accidents, recessions, history making
elections, history making decisions eg Brexit, unrest in
Syria and Aleppo, and many more..
We are still standing because somehow God saw us
through them all. If not you won't be reading this piece
today!
Have you being overwhelmed with thankfulness? Have
you been appreciative for all you've been given? Make this
moment a time of Thanksgiving...looking beyond our
plights and problems.

LESSON FROM THE VIOLINIST

I stood amazed at the passion and dexterity with which the
young man played his violin and all I could see was
EXCELLENCE! I knew he must have had very quality
time practicing and perfecting all his imperfections. I was
completely wowed!

Excellence✔ could be described as anything void of

flaws. And I put it to you that it takes a lot of hard work
to attain excellence but it is not an illusion it is
achievable!
It all lies in one's hand to set out for excellence in life, there
is no way one keeps being who one used to be and expect
something different.
No more pretenses. No more bad habits (making excuses).
It's time all those who set out hunting for excellence to be
on their toes, and standout. Just do that thing right away.
See procrastinating as the plague☠ that must be
vehemently avoided.
The New Year is growing, the days are unfolding, events
are happening, and everyone is caught in the maze of how
to get life better.

LESSON FROM THE ARCHER

I was overwhelmingly captivated when I saw this very
young innocent looking lady with a rather very calm
demeanor, as she gets prepared for competitions ahead.
The cameras focused on her relentless eye balls as she
targeted the arrow propelled by her bow on the board with
an obvious determination never to miss her target. It was
such a fascinating scene!

She remarked that she practices for 11hours daily... that's

a whole lot of time folks! How focused have you been in
the pursuit of your passion? How many things do you
focus on at a time?
Archery is indeed a game that has a whole lot of lessons but
only those who take time to practice and focus correctly
stand out in the game.
The rewards cannot be overemphasized if one decides to
focus correctly in life. Never give up, if things don't work
out, draw out another arrow.

The young female archer exemplifies dedication,

dauntlessness, and steadfastness. Something we all need
as we chase our dreams and aspirations this year.

LESSON FROM THE AFRICAN WILD DOG

Who would have thought that the documentary of the
African wild dog would have such a strong hold on me!
These dogs are extremely social animals that live in packs.
The documentary described them as relentless killing
machine that derived pleasure in chasing their prey to
exhaustion!
Though scraggy, don't underestimate what they stand to
achieve with their formidable teamwork ability! They
could bring down their prey with so much ferocity which
sometimes includes bigger carnivores like hyenas numb to
understanding when to concede defeat!

One very remarkable lesson gleaned from these 'guys' is

"never you despise the beauty of teamwork". Where
exactly are you? What organization do you identify with?
What family do you represent? How has been your
attitude towards teamwork? You might just need to
reevaluate as you go through life.

Remember, united we stand, divided we fall. The

African wild dog family would have gone into cruel
extinction but for teamwork! I put it to you that in this
new season we all can be the best of whatever we want
to be if and only if we could set our minds free to
embrace working together with those who truly matter
in our scheme of life.
You could think on this!

LESSON FROM THE RESILIENCE OF THE

ZEBRA
Why should you allow yourself or anyone tag you 'fragile,
incapable, trashable, or anything despicable'?
As I watched with a pulsating heart the overwhelming
scenes on NAT-GEO where the lioness grabbed the Zebra
by the neck with so much ferocity and pride, I couldn't but
marveled at the final outcome.

The Zebra fought for her life. I thought that would be

the end of the fragile looking Zebra but I was taken
aback when the Zebra demonstrated an unimaginable
resilience and got herself out of the grips of the fierce
lioness.
Why should one give up easily? Why not rise up and face
life challenges squarely in the eye?

Fight like the Zebra, and get victory...if we don't fight we

may never know the taste of victory! The fight can be
really worth it when we have the Lord of host on our side.
This is a season to fight and win every battle, having in
mind that if a Zebra can get off the hold of a lioness, then
we can defeat situations that confront us. If we stand to
fight then victory is surely certain.

BE WARY OF THE PLACE YOU GO

It was written in the good book that Judas went to enquire
about what would be given to the person that would betray
Jesus Christ...it appeared like the price would solve all his
life's insatiable appetite.
Who was his counselor? Did he just come up with such an
unimaginable idea? This could be typical of many
individuals, they accept advice from the wrong quarters or
they come up with very weird thought patterns. Guide
your heart with profound diligence PLEASE!
But when things changed, he found that nothing else
would satisfy his deluded soul. He searched for a way to
make things right but it never happened. He took back the
30 pieces of silver he received for the betrayal of his master
but the action never really mattered in the scheme of his
redemption.
Watch the things you entertain. The devil that snuggles
you today will be the one to increase the heat of your

punishment. The people treating you like a VIP will walk

away from you as nemesis catches up with you. Don't go
there at all!
Sooner than you would ever imagine you'll get to know
that all that truly matters is your genuine faithful
relationship with your maker. Don't be deceived!

FIRST CLEAN FROM WITHIN

Faithful thought everyone would be like him. He found
Piggy and love began to well up from his soul. He couldn't
deny loving Piggy so deeply but he dislikes her dirty
behavior and looks.
He took up the responsibility of cleaning up Piggy but he
realized that Piggy goes back to get messed up within a
short while. This ugly attitude got Faithful so worried and
unhappy.
He went to enquire from Wisdom on what to do and he
was told to do the cleaning from within to without. Folks,
many individuals are caught in the maze of wanting to
make people better but they end up in complete
frustration. If the mind is rotten there's nothing one can do
to redeem it.
Pause, think, and make the move to start all corrections
from within. There is no point painting a building with a
nice colour when inside of it is in a deep mess. When we all

begin to work on renewal of the mind, we would come up

with outcome better and worthy than the Pharisees who
focus only on without but neglect the weightier matters.

WHEN WE DESIRE A BETTER LIFE

How would you feel when you get to know that some
certain individuals love to settle for the status quo? Would
you be surprised to know there are people who just can't
pay the price to improve their lives even if they so desire
improvement/development?
Anyone who desires a new life that's full of sparks of
achievements must be ready to build new habits. One
must need to define one's values and have a clear-cut
understanding of one's vision for life!
The habits of adding actions to one's desire; really
assuming the position of the head that we've been called to
be; and remember the choice is yours to stand out...you can
simply start by first having a taste of being the 'celebrity'.
I'm sure you'll feel more satisfied than being the spectator
or an onlooker.
Try it today, you've talked about other people's
achievements for too long it's time you made the
headlines!

GO BACK TO JERUSALEM
Joseph and Mary had travelled really far when they noticed
Jesus Christ wasn't in their company. Without a second
opinion they headed back to Jerusalem and took 3days to
find him!

Sometimes it pays off to return to the basics especially

when we feel empty and incomplete in our life's journey
but very often we become too discouraged to look back
and actually see what brought about our plights.
Oh yes, it is not usually palatable going back to make
things right but no other option could be better.
One may not be getting the best of life, maybe one is used
to procrastinating, prayerlessness, cannot manage time
properly, lack ambition, can't even keep personal
commitments, gets easily offended at a little
provocation...on and on the list goes. But you don't have to
hate yourself for all that, you could just do what Mary and
Joseph did and the problems would be solved.
Equip your life with the right tools, study and apply what
the Bible says. Go for trainings. Read good books.
Welcome solitude for meditation and choose to be a better
you.
Now it is better to have the capacity to notice when life
is void and empty but it could be worse when one is
oblivious of it. Therefore, as you return to get your
destiny ensure you pray for wisdom, stature, and favour
with God and humans.

A LITTLE ON ATTITUDE 1
Life may deal several blows at us such that we look at
ourselves in the mirror and ask “could this really be me?"
Usually, the answer is "yes, it is you!"

The choice whether to let the situation make you stay

strong and positive through it needs to be considered.
We may not be able to control the things that happen
around us but we can control what happens within us.
According to J.C Maxwell attitude may not be everything
but it is a difference maker in:
*One's approach to life;
*One's relationship with people;
*And also in how one face challenges.
Have you taken time to consider these three salient
points? The examination might just be worth it.
Our attitudes reflect our emotions but one can be really
unpleasant in the failure to tame one's emotion.
Remember, we all are in charge of our attitudes.

A LITTLE ON ATTITUDE 2

Coach Anna McCoy in her book titled WOMAN ACT

NOW explained attitude as the gap that extends
between what you really think about a person or
situation and your ability to master your emotion in
response to how you think or feel about that person.
Very often we become brash towards other people due to
the things we hear about them even if we lack the fact.
Many individuals are unstable. We act in accordance to
what we hear or see. In the quest to mastering our
emotions and reflect an impeccable attitude, we need to
call to play our ability to be stable!
She added the following tips that I feel could be helpful:
*Master your emotions.
*Make decisions based on facts
*Live in the moment, don't judge others without
understanding.
*Be positive and optimistic.
*Believe the best in all situations.
*If it's not a big deal, please forgive and let go.
*Pursue excellence in everything you do.

LET IT BRING OUT THE BEAUTY IN YOU

On that very bright and lovely day Conscience felt from
within that he had hurt lady Victim so badly and took the
courage to walk up to her for forgiveness but on getting
there lady Victim wasn't at her best at all!
She allowed the impact of Conscience's wrong deeds to
have the best of her☠ and instead of making peace
matters became worse.
Patience walked by and found them in the heat of the
argument. Conscience tried to explain the situation to
Patience in so much rage and Patience looked straight
into his eyes and asked 'but your original mission was to
make peace'? With a sigh of defeat he had so much regret
in his soul!
Patience calmly added, never allow any life's issue bring
out the beast in you. Always allow any situation you find
yourself bring out the BEAUTY in you. If you truly want to
be like that man Jesus, hmmm... it's a whole lot of hard
work, and the glory afterwards would be worth
experiencing.
I'm on my lane running the race...I hope you're running
yours too? None of those vanities should get you off the
Way of the Truth and Life.

PRECIOUS THINGS FROM THE ROCK

Have you ever taken time to deeply meditate on why some
very precious things in life are not just littered on the earth
surface? As a matter of fact they are not easily found, and if
they are to be found, great effort and determination must
be expended.
Take for instance precious stones, fresh water from the
aquifers, or even petroleum, how about an impeccable
character, wonderful spouse, or love? How about the
excellence you aspire to attain this week?
There might just be a need to do more. Work a little harder.
Pay the price in the place of prayers and giving. Digging for
precious things is such a big deal but it pays off.
So whenever you remember some of the mysteries of life
remember they are simply lessons for you to learn and
apply in your life in order to always get the best of life.
Never forget that if you don't make life, life will make you!

TAKING COGNIZANCE 1
The environment a child is born has a way of influencing
what she becomes. Typically, we draw our behavior from
the environment we were born. No child is born with a
culture, it is learned and as a matter of fact some people
become ethnocentric as they grow up, but remember if the
environment is that of mediocrity and decadence it might

require lots of hard work for a child born into it to embrace

excellence!

How about knowledge? What do you know? You can't be

better than what you know! What you know determines
what you become. If all you know is impossibilities,
disappointments, laziness, procrastinating, immorality
and queer life style...you might just become the
consequence of these negatives☠. But if you know
excellence and your knowledge is Jesus driven, one may
not be too surprised to see your life become bright and
beautiful. The obvious will simply be undeniable.
Could you please take a look at your environment and your
knowledge? Are you satisfied? Are you proud of what
you've become over the years? Would you like your
children to be exactly the way you are? Please think on
this...I'm thinking as well.

TAKING COGNIZANCE 2
When a little child crawls to a hot kettle, grabs it, gets
burnt, and screams for pain, she automatically gets the
knowledge to be wary of hot☠ things because of her
experience.
Can we say, our knowledge depends largely on our life's
experiences? If that be the case, then we must learn for
REAL!

Would a young girl say if she entertains an unholy liaison

with a deceptive young man, escape unwanted pregnancy
and heart break? How about a drug addict that suffers a
nervous breakdown? How about an incorrigible person? If
we would truly learn from our individual and others life
experiences, our personal troubles and foibles would
greatly reduce.
Take a deep look at your life's experiences, and then trace
them to the things you know and the environment you're
coming from, what are your deductions? Is there any need
to unlearn some certain things? Is there a need to desire
another kind of environment?

AND THEY WENT

I got wondering when divine instructions come in a
manner that outstrips rationalistic and humanistic point of
reasoning. That reminds me of the ten lepers in the Holy
Scriptures.

They cried out to Jesus saying 'have mercy on us' the Lord
responded by saying they should go and show themselves
to the priest AND THEY WENT and were cleansed from
their reproach!
How can one explain this mystery? When we make moves
in bleak circumstances...one might just need to try it out
this week. Break through barriers, ignore the haters and
discouragements, get out of your comfort zone and stare at

life squarely in the eye with a bold look in faith and say I
MUST MAKE IT but never the other way round.
And as we all go this week I declare that God's mercy will
make us come testify that AND WE WENT...God did it.
Just do it!

TAKING COGNIZANCE 3
Have you come across some individuals that would come
out boldly with no sense of apologies? All you hear them
say is 'that's the way we are in my family, we don't take shit
and we get easily provoked. Don't you dare me! That's just
a belief. It's your responsibility to decipher if it's wrong or
right!
Some men say why would a woman talk to me! Some
women would say why would I take shit from a man? Some
would say my background hasn't trained me to allow the
opposite sex take the lead. Wake up and do something
about your beliefs!
But why are we overly reactive and defensive? Why can't
we live life based on the kingdom truth introduced by
Jesus Christ? Why can't we choose peace, honour all
humans, and always do right? Our beliefs in the long run
birth our values. I wouldn't want to imagine the value that
emanates from a faulty belief system.

Today's deep thinking is what are your values? What are

the things that matter to you? Your values go a long way
to determine the life span of your relationships and more
importantly how much you could get from life.

TAKING COGNIZANCE CONCLUSION

Does it bother you when you get to the shop and you
hear people say give me Peak Milk and the shop owner
asks Holland or Nigeria? Then you hear Holland of
course! Has it ever occurred to you that we have so
relegated our values? Why can't our products measure up
with the ones from abroad?
When the keynote speaker for my books public
presentation saw the books the first question he asked was
“were they printed abroad?” I proudly answered No, they
were printed in Nigeria!
What do we treasure? The things we treasure represent our
values and consequently determine our choice. How long
would we continue in the backwaters of mediocrity?
Our wrong choices over the years have come to undermine
our spiritual and physical wellbeing. That is why even you
reading right now may not have confidence in Nigeria
made products.

Mark my words today; until we take ACTION to

embrace INTEGRITY, SINCERITY, PURITY of

are being born. Wake up and take the bull by the horns
right now.
Take an inventory and make up your mind to achieve your
goals and aspirations. Look up for mercy and enabling
capacity. Yes, you can be who God's created you to be.

THE CRUMBS AND THE MEALS

If the crumbs from the Master's table could deliver from

a demon possessed situation, what would the meals on
the table do? How powerful would the meal be?

But why do we have so many problems in our day? Why do

we have to battle cancers, delays of different shades and
categories, divorces, resentments, bitterness, anger,
failure, immoralities, poor decisions, reproach, hatred...in

the world and even in the church?

Lord, have Mercy! Even if we have done things that have
enlisted us into the 'category' of the Canaanites who do not
deserve to inherit the gifts Christ brought to the world, in
FAITH, we cry like the Syrophoenician woman for Mercy.

I hear Him say, though you pleaded for the crumbs but
I'll give you my Best. Here comes another time,
reminding us again of the Power of Resurrection simply
saying 'I'll GIVE YOU MY BEST'!
