Connection of combine and header is WWHU, but some amendments and setting to be done
Re-setting of header upper guides should be done

Maximum shift sideways

It is needed to cut away the metal on the bottom part of header for the feeder
house plate to be housed

Header is attached
 Change of reel fore/aft drive

Hydraulic cylinder from Power Flow were used for this, part № D28284930
Hydraulic line was hand made and easily put through the header frame
 Hydraulic connections

It is necessary to order 2 connectors to fit

Additional connectors were used for the task
into multicoupler to do the job properly
Reel speed

It is necessary to change
polarity on the reel speed
sensor wires
Problems not solved:
1. Reel speed is not correct
2. Reel starts to rotate after
header engagement only
after speed increase
 Auto Level

Auto Level potentiometers are displayed on monitor, the header is calibrated OK.
AHHC works by double clicking on header down button on the joystick.
Problem not solved: input from potentiometers are changing, Auto Level doesn’t
work.
 Combine at work (soybean)

Speed 4 km/h, humidity 18% (header drawback – slow knife speed, by increasing the forward speed the knife
tears the crop and gets stalled)
When in the middle of the day the humidity went down to some 14% they were harvesting at 7-8 km/h!!! The
combine didn’t feel any overload. The yield was some 2,5 t/ha
At night they stopped at the humidity of 20%!!! JD rotaries stopped right after sunset…
Average fuel consumption on monitor 8 l/ha, real level was 9,7 l/ha.
