    Means of transport can be divided into three groups.

    LAND Transport – Vehicles which move on land are means of land transport.

    Trains are also the means of land transport. They run on rails so they are called
    railways.

    WATER Transport- Vehicles that sail in water are called means of water
    transport.

    AIR Transport – Vehicles that fly in the air are called means of air transport.

    They need aerodrome or a helipad to land on or take off.


    Air transport is the fastest and costliest means of transport.
