2. Read the scenario and the instructions carefully, and respond to the prompt below.

You are working in a youth organization similar to the AYC. Your organization is competing for
funding. Your team can only submit one proposal to the competition. Your team agrees that each
member may submit a proposal to the team, and the team will decide together on how to use each
member’s proposal to create the team’s proposal for the competition.
Two proposals stand out from the rest. One belongs to your colleague, Pheaktra. Pheaktra’s
proposal is well prepared and exactly fits the objectives of the competition. The other one comes
from another colleague, Sothea. Like Pheaktra’s proposal, Sothea’s proposal falls in the scope of
the competition. However, it does not exactly align with all objectives of the competition. Also, it is
not well-crafted. For example, there are a few bad estimations in the budget plan. Nonetheless,
everyone—including yourself—agrees that if Sothea’s project idea is properly developed and
implemented, it will benefit a bigger portion of Cambodian youth than any other proposed project.
If you have to vote between the two proposals, which one will you vote for? Support your
answer with reasons. Could you come up with any other solution that helps your team gets
funding and while also creating big impact? State your solution, outline the steps, and explain
why you think the solution is the most productive.

(Maximum 250 words)
