Confirming a room reservation shows that you care for your client, even though they have
already paid for it. This proves to the client that you value their patronage. All details or plans about
the booking are checked and customers will have the assurance that they have a space for them
when they arrive.
A guaranteed reservation is a confirmation that the hotel keeps the booked room and does
not release it to any other guest, even though the guest does not arrive on time because they have
already received a pre-payment or a contract agreement. Whereas, a non-guaranteed reservation is
when a guest confirms her reservation at a hotel but does not guarantee it with an advance deposit.
A guaranteed reservation has a benefit for the guest because they have an assurance about
the accommodation, they can get their preference floor, view, and personal choice, and receive a
correspondence at the hotel address.
