 GUARANTEED RESERVATION - the establishment is assuming that when a


reservation is assured, the guest will reserve the needed rooms and block them after
confirmation. As a result of differences in the advance payment for assured reservations,
the hotel commits to a room until a specific time of reservation.
 PRE-PAYMENT - this requires full payment for a guaranteed reservation for a room.
 PARTIAL PRE-PAYMENT OR DEPOSIT - In short, this is an advance deposit
guaranteed reservation that requires that the guest pay the hotel the anticipated amount
of money before arrival.
 CREDIT CARD BOOKINGS - Credit card is the most popular method of payment in
the business hotel industry for guaranteed reservations. Depending upon the financial
status and money in the bank, the credit card is issued to the buyers/clients.
 VOUCHER - In case of a show, according to a contract, the hotel usually bills the travel
agent for payment. In essence, the travel agent guarantees the client's reservation in
exchange for payment made in advance by the guest for their vacation packages.

 SPECIAL AGREEMENT - In short, based on the terms of the contract between the
hotel and the corporation company, the corporation will bear the cost of any no-show
guests.

 NON-GUARANTEED RESERVATION - In this reservation, there is no legal process


for confirming the room nor any payment for the advanced deposit made. Non-
guaranteed is a provisional reservation in which room revenue is not secured. In short,
this is a provisional reservation it does not mean the hotel's rooms are guaranteed to
be free or that they will be of high quality.

 QQIC

 Qualify – In short, the staff in this section is assigned to check the guest’s
requirements if they have any discount vouchers or loyalty cards. They’re also the one
who talks about negotiating the room’s prices.

 Quotes – the staff in this section is in charge to offer the guest the room type that fit
them whether they are a group, family, two people, or even solos.

 Invite – staff is in-charge in of asking the guests if they want to continue or make the
reservation based on the offer.

 Confirm – after all the offerings and the customer said yes, the staff is in-charge of
confirming everything discussed the room and price, by repeating the details to the
guest.
