    THE CRY OF BALINTAWAK (AUG,26,1986)

    - I agreed with the cry of balintawak in 1986 because it was the turning point when the Filipinos
    finally refused Spanish colonial dominion over the Philippine Islands. With tears in their eyes,
    the people as one man, pulled out their cedulas and tore them into pieces. I agreed to this
    version because we can see how Filipino will fight for our country.

    - CRY OF PUGAD LAWIN

    - I also agree with the cry of pugad lawin because These events vitalized the unity of the Filipino
    People and brought "thirst" for independence. The Cry of the Rebellion in Pugad Lawin, marked
    the start of the Philippine Revolution in 1896 which eventually led to Independence of the
    country in 1898.
