Argumentative Paper

I. Introduction

Education is critical to our society's future. Many people, including academics

and instructors, are always looking for the finest technique to educate today's pupils.
Many pupils appear to prefer face-to-face education since it is the true form. COVID-19,
on the other hand, has upset education systems throughout the world, posing unforeseen
obstacles. Attending school is the most effective public policy instrument for improving
abilities. While education can be enjoyable and can improve social skills and awareness,
the fundamental economic benefit of being in school is that it boosts a child's capacity.
Even a very brief duration of absence from school will have effects on skill development.
Can we, however, predict how much the COVID-19 disruption would affect learning?
Face-to-face learning, in my opinion, is superior to distant learning since interaction is a
key component of face-to-face education.

II. Body

We know currently in the situation that everything is going stable, especially the
education of the youths. In the past few years, there has been a vast virus spread, and our
country is forced to have a lockdown that impacts our education. Education in this
ongoing pandemic in the past few years is very hard because we are used to going to
school every morning and there is excitement. As we can see there are pros and cons
when it comes to pushing face-to-face classes in these times. Pros in pushing face-to-face
classes in this situation, since the COVID-19 cases have decreased a bit and its level is
not stable either it is going up or down, pushing face-to-face can help students to stay
more focused on studying, and pushing face-to-face classes can cause the increase of
COVID-19 cases even if you’re fully vaccinated, and that will be one of the cons, but
think about of what’s your child will learn if it is not virtual or online studying, one is,
more focused on class, you can access more information and richer understanding
through teacher and other students' body language and voice and one is not focused
because he or she is playing video games or he/she is too not focusing because there are
so many disruptions when it comes to online learning. So for me, I am agreeing with
face-to-face classes but we also have to follow rules because it is not really that safe. We
must know that it is for our children. Government should really think about it and also
need to explore or research what we will do to these kinds of setups.
According to DepEd (2022), Our former President Rodrigo Duterte declared
limited face-to-face classes in the areas that have a low risk of covid-19 positive cases
from public to private schools. The regions that have Alert level 1 to level 2 will prepare
and continue the limited face-to-face classes in their perspectives areas.
Face-to-face classes are gradually enforced and it will be a big help mostly on
our course instead of online studying. Many students will develop their skills mostly in
cooking like in our course and also in other fields. Cooking in school will also give us
more precise feedback or true feedback because the teacher can see and taste it.

III. Conclusion
In conclusion, I am agreeing with the Face-to-face classes but with rules and
regulations. The implementation of having a face-to-face class will be helpful for most of
the students. Having face-to-face classes can help most people to focus more on studying
and learning more. We should still be reminded every day that there are protocols that we
need to follow for our safety because we are still in the pandemic.
