Education amidst the Pandemic

What is Pandemic? What causes the pandemic? How did the pandemic affect
education? What is the relation between Pandemic and Education? What is Education?

Whenever you read the word pandemic there was many things that will come up to
your mind and one of them is the "Education amidst the Pandemic." Pandemic was an
outbreak or rather the result of a dramatic increase, growth, or development. The
COVID-19 pandemic has spread all across the country, impacting almost all countries
and regions. The pandemic was recently identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.
Countries everywhere throughout the world repeatedly warned to remain cautious.
Handwashing, wearing face masks, physical distancing, and avoiding mass gatherings
and assemblies have already been used for public health strategies. In attempting to
flatten the curve and control the spread of the disease, lockdown and stay-at-home
methods were used. According to Porkhel and Chhetri (2021), This same COVID-19
pandemic has caused chaos in education systems all over the world, affecting nearly
1.6 billion students through over 200 countries worldwide. More than 80 to 90 percent of
the world's student population has been damaged by school, institution, and other
learning environment closures. Because of the suddenly COVID-19 pandemic, many
things had changed and one of them is the education system to be able still to continue
the education of every individual learner they however did their most suitable to adjust
to a new system to still expand their knowledge and to not affect their future. Students
and Teachers are having a hard time to adjusting this new system but still did their best.
The countries that were affected decided that continuing education online is the best for
educators and learners.
Having a suddenly new system brought shock to everyone too but the nation try to
prevent the rapid spread and changed some of the normal things that the people
normally do in their normal lives. They replace the education to not meet each other or
stay at home while studying and it's called online class or learning. The advantage of
online education according to Gautam (20220), Is that it enables students to attend
classes from any area of their preference. It also allows schools to reach out to a more
far-reaching network of students, instead of being restricted by geographical limits.
Additionally, online lectures can be recorded, archived, and shared for future reference.
This allows students to access the learning material at a time of their comfort. Having to
study on our own is really comfortable and this helps some of the students that have a
lot of workload at home to take time. Muthuprasad Et. Al (2020) defined that, Students
think that online sessions are appealing due to various their flexibility and convenience,
but even that broadband connectivity problems in isolated areas make it much more
difficult for students to take part in online learning activities. However, in the agricultural
education system, where many courses are purposeful, shifting exclusively online may
not be possible, requiring the development of a switch mode. Living in an area that has
a slow signal can cause stress to students and teachers, being frustrated is hard
because no one can't contain their feelings. One of the disadvantages of online learning
is that not everyone has the ability to easily learn visual some students are not visual
learners and have a troublesome time coping in some of the lessons.

Everyone had an obstacle that faced them but despite that, each of us wants to still
struggle in this pandemic and continue to fight in our own way. Having each other give
strengths to one another and if we follow the rules that set because of the COVID-19
pandemic will be able to back in our not so stressful days.
