A landslide is a movement in the earth's mass, which dislocates from the lower layers
and travels downward slowly.
Drought
These are prolonged periods of time with less than average rainfall causing a
shortage of water at the surface in the atmosphere or in the groundwater levels.
➢ There are continuous low volumes of water in rivers from human streams and
reservoirs.
➢ It really becomes a disaster when it begins to affect crops and the lives of
people and animals.
➢ Jorts can be classified into four different types: meteorological, hydrological
and agricultural.
Hurricane
It's a huge tropical storm with winds that spin around a core called the eye. These
usually form over the warm ocean waters near the equator the warm air over the
ocean.
Earthquake
An earthquake is the sudden movement of the earth's tectonic plates. The places
where the plates meet are called faults or the fault plane.
Tsunami
The term tsunami is caused when earthquakes occur under water, this produces the
waves produced
➢ They are caused by hurricanes and storms that could make landfall.
➢ They are caused by movements of the ocean flow due to earthquakes.
➢ It is highly dangerous if you are near the sea because it destroys everything
in its path.
➢ Seas and rivers grow where there is the greatest
➢ severity and risk of tsunami
➢ Tsunamis cause extreme stress in the water, which pushes the water up and
gravity down.
➢ Tsunamis are called killer waves.
➢ They have the shape of waves in which they form with the sea from the
deepest part to when it comes out.
➢ A tsunami and a tidal wave can be caused at the same time and do a lot of
damage.
Volcanic Eruption
The eruptions are the consequences of the increase of temperature in the magma
that is inside the terrestrial mantle.
➢ Lava can cause glaciers to melt.
➢ It ejects boiling lava in all directions.
➢ A volcano can be active or inactive, but it can go unnoticed.
➢ There are 3 types of volcanoes: white plateaus, fresh air vent, and bulging.
➢ Volcanic eruptions do not obey any rules of periodicity.
➢ no method has been discovered to prevent them
➢ There are 3 types of eruptions: lava, explosives and topography.
