Dear Sir,
Recently, we have received a notice from the Examination Section according to which, pursuant
to the issue of unavailability of internet and online legal resources, the students have been given
an option to opt-out of submitting the second projects, and in lieu write physical examination
which is to be conducted within ten days of the reopening of the University.
Sir, therefore, we would be highly obliged if you could clarify whether the opt-out policy for the
second project is applicable for individual subjects or do students need to opt-out of all the
projects. Whether the students have the choice to select individual subjects to submit or
not submit projects under the opt-out policy being offered under the scheme?
In anticipation of your response!

Dear SBA,
Hope you are doing well. Forwarded your email to the Members of the Grievance Committee. Received response from
one member. Thereafter, discussed the matter with the Vice-Chancellor and it has been resolved that if a student is
opting out from the second project, she/he must opt out from second projects of all subjects for logistical and
administrative reasons. The students opting out must send an email to examination@nliu.ac.in intimating their
willingness to opt out from the second projects in all the subjects and their readiness to take the written examination in
accordance with the notification issued by the Examination Section in this regard.
Best wishes,
