RECREATIONAL BEACH HILL RESORT

1.1 INTRODUCTION: A resort is a place where accommodation or a place to stay are

provided with all the satisfactory amenities. It is a place for enjoyment for a visitor to be
experienced.

In the present scenario, the human life is worried with all the responsibilities and rapid
development in society, humans are being conjected to many pressures which result in lack of
mental peace of human. So as an alternative option a resort is a place equipped with all the
requirements of peace that human wanted.

Living in the green environment with embraced hillocks, with a eye-catching beach view is a
blessing, and these can be fulfilled with beach hill resorts. It is a place providing the natural
surroundings and a place for spending time in a scenic atmosphere away from the crowds and
noises from the city and enjoy the beauty of nature in pleasant atmosphere and landscapes.

1.2 NEED FOR STUDY:

In living regard to concrete jungle, human needs a place which blends them closer to the nature
in physical as well as psychological aspects. The rapid growth in urbanization result in traffic
and industrialization lead to lack of human peace and also results in causing health issues.

As a solving answer to eradicate those situations, resort is an optional to create a recreational

space which provides peace, relaxation and pleasant atmosphere to the humans.

1.3 AIM:
 To design a resort in a sloping hill with maintaining the relationship between building
and nature.
1.4 OBJECTIVES:
 To design a recreational beach hill resort with context to the site with
sensitive design.
 To maintain the relation between building and nature in terms of
implementation of design strategies.
  To provide a recreational environment for the resort through various
functions and amenities.
 To adopt energy efficient designing process.
1.5 SCOPE:
There is a wide range of scope for these kinds of recreational beach hill
resorts. As the present scenario there is more importance of need of leisure
place and tourism, as a result there is need for the multifunctional resort which
not only focuses on stay but also in services too.
Many of the tourist visitors are not very much interested in living hotels
which are situated in the core area of the city, they intend to stay at places
that are few kilometers far away from the city, so as to enjoy and dive in
freshness.
1.6 LIMITATION:
 The design deals with the implementation of design principles to maintain
the relationship between nature and building.
 The project deals with to achieve the satisfactory amenities in a Recreation
beach hill resort.
 the project deals with the limited details with the green design implemented
and the required level of detailing as per architectural requirement is
implemented.

LOCATION: VISAKHAPATNAM COASTAL AREA

Present in this scenario, Visakhapatnam is one of the developing states in Andhra Pradesh.

According to updates there is proposal of VIZAG BEACH REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

is going to be started from this November 2020.

This project is proposed to attract more tourists and improve tourism.

So as a result, Visakhapatnam is covered with many hills, my project like Recreational Beach
Hill Resort would suitable for the proposal in respective to the site context and proposals
