Details related to the post of Senior Factory Assistant

Work on shift basis (8 hours shift to provide 24*7 coverage)

Nature of work:

Senior Factory Assistant (Dairying) :

1. Stacking of Milk packets in the tubs and segregate leakage milk sachets.
2. Loading and unloading tubs in cold storage room and route vehicles.
3. Floor washing and tub washing in Dairy premises.
4. Cleaning of Silo, VAT and other Dairy equipments.

Senior Factory Assistant (Lab) :

1. Collection of samples from Road Milk Tankers by verifying the Metal

seals, Sampling of Milk & Milk products, water samples, ETP samples,
recording the BDF temperature, Cold room Temperature and
Pasteurisation temperature, etc. in the respective records.
2. Assisting the Shift in charges in the preparation of reagents, chemicals
and media for microbiological work.
3. Cleaning of glass wares, laboratory accessories, equipments and
Sterilisation of the glass wares regularly.
4. Maintaining the lab premises clean and tidy.

Senior Factory Assistant (Animal Husbandry) :

1. Animal maintenance works such as feeding, watering, Animal cleaning,

grooming, Animal exercise, bedding etc.,
2. Animal shed maintenance works such as Dung removing, shed cleaning,
Drainage cleaning etc.,
3. Feed & Fodder supply to all Animals as per schedule.
4. Animal maintenance works even in cold climate areas such as Nilgiris,
etc.,
 5. Animal handling with untamed Bulls and to manage such a way to bring
the bulls to semen collection yard and back to animal shed after semen
collection.

Senior Factory Assistant (Admn) :

1. Maintaining office premises neat and clean.

2. Collecting and handing over tapals and files to the concerned offices.
3. Attending to the works allotted by the officers.

Senior Factory Assistant (Marketing) :

1. Carrying out sales of Milk & Milk Products at Parlours.

2. Distribution of Milk sachet at depots.
3. Canvassing for milk and milk products.

Senior Factory Assistant (Engineering) :

1. Helping the Machine operators for smooth functioning of machineries.

2. Operation and maintenance of ETP.
3. Cleaning of Machineries.
4. Periodical cleaning of all Engineering equipments and service areas.
