Warm up: (3 minutes) Song : Old MacDonald had a farm


The trainee teacher plays the song “Old MacDonald had a farm”. She sings it, mimicing.

Presentation:  The trainee teacher sticks a poster on the board a puzzle of a pig and a chicken.
(15 minutes)  The traineee teacher elicits from the students if they know about them. E.g. Can you
see an elephant?Can you see a dog?Can you see a monkey?.
 The trainee teacher points of one of the animals in the board and elicits the names of
them from the students. E.g. What is this?
If they don´t know the answer, the trainee teacher continues working with elicitacion:
Is it a monkey? Is it a dog?
 The trainee teacher sticks the names of the parts of the animal in every picture.
Practice The trainee teacher hands out a copy to revise the vocabulary learn copy (N°1).

Systematization The trainee teacher hands out a copy (N°2) related to parts of the animal’s body.

Production Student should draw a crazy animal .

Relaxation Game : Pin the tail on the pig


The trainee teacher stick the picture of a pig on the board. Then, she chooses a student. She uses

a dark colored cloth to thoroughly cover the participant’s eyes and prevent cheating. The player
is spun in a stationary circle five to ten times. The Trainee teacher hands the blindfolded player a
tail and allow him or her to attempt sticking it over the "X" on the pig's rear end.
