Learning Points

The Simple Past Tense

Some verbs are regular and some verbs are irregular in the Simple Past tense in the
affirmative form. They have the same structure in the negative and interrogative forms and
Wh/Hw questions.

Regular Verbs form the Past tense by adding -d, -ed or -ied.
Irregular Verbs have different endings.

Some Irregular Past tense verbs are:

to see -- saw
to do -- did
to go -- went
