Logistics Management:
Logistics management is a part of SCM aspect that is being used to fulfil consumer needs via the
preparation, coordination and execution of optimal storage and transportation of relevant

material, commodities / services through origin to the destination. Logistics planning lets
businesses minimize costs and boost user experience.
The transportation procurement starts with the aggregation of raw materials to the late stages of
the delivery of goods to the location.
Logistics management promotes project strategy, preparation, and execution by adhering to
consumer expectations and business expectations.

Logistics management includes a variety of components, such as:


 Choosing suitable manufacturers only with potential supply services
 Deciding most efficient travel routes
 Discover most qualified form of execution
 Utilizing tools and IT services to conduct similar operations effectively.

Imprudent choices in logistics management raise a lot of issues. For e.g., shipments that lag or
are overdue contribute to disappointment with the purchaser. Harm to products due to reckless
transport is yet another possible problem. Weak logistics preparation steadily raises spending and
problems can emerge from the introduction of obsolete logistics tools.Any of these issues arise
because of inappropriate procurement actions, including the appointment of the poor provider or
the execution of distribution activities lacking adequate resources.

Organizations should adopt best logistic operations methods to fix these problems. Firms must
rely on teamwork instead of rivalry. Strong coordination between transport operators, consumers
and suppliers helps minimize costs. Efficient and reliable transport suppliers are also critical to
business growth.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
OF AJIO:
AJIO works through third - party service
companies to deliver goods to customers

("Logistic Partners"). Information including its Logistic Partner that will process the distribution
of the ordered product or services) would be provided to customers after distribution of the
ordered products / services) to the Logistic Partner through AJIO. An estimated day of arrival of
the ordered product will also be given to the Customer on the shipment notification tab. AJIO
can also distribute Goods to Consumers itself without the participation of Logistic Partners.
Although AJIO strives to accelerate certain services across the Channels and ensure the
distribution of its goods across India, AJIO currently has a select list of places where distribution
can be conducted. Also, at time of making an order for procurement of goods on the Website,
customers are asked to input their pin-code information to check whether orders will be made in
their regions.
If a region in which the Customer wants the ordered goods to be shipped does not come under
the accepted distribution network of AJIO, AJIO would not be capable of processing that request
forward.
Until making the payments to the Sites for procurement of products, the Customer would be
required to have a shipping address. When providing the specifics of the shipping address,
Consumer must ensure that correct, full and precise information is given alongside appropriate
landmarks to assist in the identification of location. In case of inability to supply the ordered
Goods resulting from failure of the Consumer to provide correct, total and reliable details doesn't
really make AJIO responsible at any time.
A limit of 3 (three) attempts shall be made to supply purchased merchandise to its Customer. If
the Customer appears to be unable after 3 (three) tries, AJIO retains the option to rescind the
demand for the goods bought at its complete authority.
Although AJIO 'll enjoy fair efforts to ensure that ordered goods are shipped itself to Consumers
on deadline, shipment may also be postponed mostly on basis of:
 Logistic problems outside the reach of AJIO.
 Unfair environmental conditions.
 Constitutional disturbances, demonstrations, lockouts, etc.
 actions of Creation, such as earthquakes, flood, etc,
 Certain unforeseeable conditions.
AJIO, as an internal procedure, undergoes several performances relative to ensure that
administrators and persons working by its Logistic Partners are people with the highest respect
for integrity and dignity. Even so, AJIO cannot guarantee which its vendors or staff of its
Logistic Partners act in a way that exudes rigorous discipline, integrity, and decent demeanour.It
is clearly specified how some unhealthy-mannerism, impoliteness, rudeness or crudeness
displayed by AJIO 's shipping managers or employees of Logistic Partners is beyond the
jurisdiction of AJIO and any issues occurring between the user and AJIO 's delivery managers or
personnel of the Logistics Company may have to be handled individually by User.

On effective order placement on the Portals after AJIO have effectively turned over all the
ordered Product(s) towards its Logistic Partner, the Customer will obtain an unique
identification that will allow the User to monitor the distribution status of the goods purchased.
The Customer may be using the Monitoring Identification no. on the Websites or the Smartphone
Application of a Logistic Partner to verify the location of product category as well as the
approximate time of its distribution.
AJIO intend to make fair efforts to ensure also that status of the goods bought is changed on
time. Even so, AJIO doesn't really ensure its consistency of monitoring record since it is
modified on a real-time basis and seems to be liable to uncertainties resulting from delays in
updating details and other technicalities outside the control of AJIO.
AJIO retains the right to incur postage costs for items of the a value less than the stated amount
and/or products for which payment is made by form of cash on delivery or any other digital
payment method. If compensated, these charges shall never be reimbursed to a Customer for
cancelled flights or refunds made after goods have been ordered, other than in the situation of the
product which has a malfunction also at date of shipment (“for reasons attributable to and
approved by AJIO after proper verification at its sole discretion”).
The title and probability of damage on all purchased goods shall be passed on to the Consumer
on shipment of the purchased items to Customer.
The transfer and exchange of imported goods carried out by AJIO's reverse logistics associates or
by AJIO 's distribution managers.
