In my own understanding about karma is like comeback whatever you do to others it will
happen to you good or bad. In Hinduism teaches the true nature of every human person. They
have this so-called atman this is where the concept karma came from. It says that the belief that
every living being has a soul and a body. Our physical body is the house of the atman. The
physical body is not eternal because it is subjected to death. Whereas, the Atman is eternal and
unchanging. In short, the physical body dies, but the atman stays. They do not know what will
happen next. This is where the concept karma came from. My concept karma did not change
because it is really what it is.

2. The Hindu concept of samsara is the karmic cycle. It is the concept of the cycle of rebirth. In
Christians this is the heaven and hell. But the difference in Hindu is that if a human only dies to
be born again. They do not believe the human-only live once humans always reincarnate but in a
different physical person until you accomplish your mission. Karma is also involved in samsara
they believe that if you have done badly in your past you will be reincarnated into a lower level
like animals or other forms of nature. For me I think we are not in an endless cycle of birth
because once we died I believe that we will go to heaven.

3. My own idea of yoga is when a person meditates and the activity of stretching and mindful
breathing. The Hindu has a different perspective on yoga. It is their form of connecting to their
god Brahman. They have three different types of yoga first is Karma Yoga (the way of action) -
It is the most common path for the Hindus. It is duty-based. It is living by accordance with the
proper order of things that are determined by gender, caste, and stage of life. Second is Bhakti
Yoga (the way of devotion) - This kind of yoga is a worship of a personal deity, but the believer
has the freedom to choose which deity they want to worship. Lastly, Jana Yoga (the way of
knowledge) - This form of yoga emphasizes on knowledge as a way to reconnect with the
Ultimate Reality. Meditation is the tool of the practitioners where they engage in a strict
physical, spiritual, mental, and moral discipline. It also involves the repetition of mantras and a
sacred word. We all have our own beliefs it’s just according to the person on how they will adopt
these beliefs. For me, my own understanding of yoga is now different.

4. The classes in the Hindu caste system are Brahmins which classifies the priests and the sages
make up this social class. The second one is the Kshatriyas which are the warriors of the society.
The third is the Vaishyas this group is in charge of producing goods in society. For example,
bankers, merchants, and farmers. Lastly Shudras or the servants. Yes we can we compare the
caste system to different concepts of social classes because these are just the different courses in
our modern society these are just the same but different ways of teaching.
