Lesson Focus

Students will be able to learn letter D and some words start with this letter.

Lesson Outcomes

Students will be able to spell some words starting with letter D.

Links to Prior Learning: students studied how to count numbers up to 100.

Hook: tr will open up a video, it explains the letter D and some words. While
the students watching it, the teacher will stop it and will ask students “what do
we call this letter? who can read this word for me?”
Tr: will write on the smart bored letter D and will ask the students to tell her

Ss: will repeat the letter.
Two flags. Tr: will write the lower-case d.
Tr: will ask the students about the date.
Cards. Tr: will introduce the outcome which is “I am learning letter D” and students
will repeat after her.

Tr: will present a picture of the duck, desk, doll, and dog.
Pictures Tr: will present the first picture and will ask students “what is this?” and will
do the rest.
