Reflection

My lesson was about multiplication three factors. This lesson was for third-grade boys
and girls. The lesson was explained in the math class in four groups of five students. Enables
the student to solve the multiplication problem by drawing the array to find the answer. The
teacher started the lesson by reviewing the prior knowledge by presenting the equation on the
smart board. For example, the equation is 3 ×2=¿. Then the teacher starts asking the
students. How do we get the answer? Students respond to the teacher and solve the equation
together. In this lesson, I used John Dewey's theory says that past knowledge affects the
learning process. However, there are many benefits of modeling the group activity for the
students instead of telling them because this method helps students interact with the teacher
and motivate them to participate at different levels of education. moreover, the educational
objective was to clarify the educational plan he used during this phase.

There are several strategies that can be used to help students understand the lesson.
For example, students use a matrix model to unify their understanding of beatings. So, I will
prepare several activities and strategies to help students improve their abilities and arithmetic
skills. for example, the multiplication table so this method helps them to improve their
computational abilities. Next, the teacher moves to the second part begin with the students the
new lesson about the multiplication of three factors and explains the lesson by writing the
equation on the whiteboard then begins to explain the equation to the students. For example,
equation ( 4 ×3)× 2, Here we have 3 factors. How to multiply all of them all? Students
respond with the teacher. Some students say they draw array and some give me a direct
answer. The teacher interprets the equation with the students using step by step. These are
strategies that can be implemented to ensure that all students participate.

After that, moved the third part is activities. The teacher divides the student into three
levels Emergent، Developing and Master. Then she starts explaining the activity for three
different levels and gives them 15 minutes to do this activity. I think the students' response
was very effective when I explained the activities to each group and each group was doing its
activities quickly. In fact, students responded to the lesson in the right way and students
showed their interaction when using activity and wanting to learn more. And I tried to help
some students solve the problem of multiplication, by using the array to find the answer.
This experience is enjoyable by using the classroom environment for learning and I
enjoyed it as the students showed an interest in the subject matter and were keen to share and
interact with me. The lesson has achieved my educational goals by adding new skills to
students' learning levels as well as increasing their knowledge. In the future, I will improve
my skills in preparing activities and develop my ability to deal with students to help them
understand the subject of the lesson in an easy and simplified way as well as contribute to the
development of the field of education. This experience has had a significant impact on
improving my skills in the preparation of activities.
