Activities
NOTE;-practical work includes the following:-using geometrical shapes of your choice
visualize the following on a format measuring (10cm x 1ocm)
1. Warm and cool colors on a formant measuring 10 x 15cm.
2. Visualizing elements and principles of design
Elements are
 Lines (zig zag, contour, straight, curves etc)
 Shapes (regular and irregular shapes)
 Texture(rough and smooth)
 Tones (monochrome, etc)
Principles of design
 Balance ( symmetrical, asymmetrical, etc)
 Rhythm
 Emphasis
 Unit
NB:-
 Use the formant measuring 10cm x 10cm.
 All works must be colour
 White and black are not part of these projects.
If time allows we shall discuss the following projects in colour.

4. Less is more in colour (you may redo the spacemen you have in black and white…)
5. Planes in colour (chairs, set-piece of artificial objects, boxes…and many others)

If time allows we shall design the following projects in colour using computer
graphic.

2. Shapes in an A3 board of your choice using any harmonies in colour
3. Designing one colour posters and two colour posters of your choice using
Adobe Photoshop.
