Learning
 ToTargets:
define the word design.
 To identify the different elements of design.
 To create an art using the elements of design.
1.) Line
- It represents a single dimension – length.
- It is considered as a moving point.
- It can show movement, describe edges and can
highlight certain part of the artwork.
Kinds of Line
1.) Organic Lines (Curved lines)
• Do not follow the shape of any geometrical figure

• These lines are found in nature


• These lines express gracefulness, enthusiasms and
naturalness

1.) Inorganic Lines (Straight lines)
• Regular lines and follow the shape of any
geometrical figure
• These lines are used when drawing man-made
structures like a house or a car.
• These lines are usually basic shapes as squares,
triangles, and rectangles.

2.) Shape
- It is a closed line.
- It is a flat and can express length and width

- It is a light-reflected off objects

Texture
- It is the feel, appearance, or thickness of a surface.

It is from a creative point of view, occurs when
two or more related elements are displayed
differently, and the greater the difference, the
greater the contrast.

Activity 1: Creative Drawing (Dot Design)
Materials: Bond Paper , Coloring materials
(use two colors only)
Procedures:
• Create a design using dots
• Use only two colors (keep it simple)
• The dots within each design should vary in size
(you can use contrast)
• Take a photo of your work then submit in the
