AURDINNOV BOTIX

AURDINNOV BOTIX, a R&D Startup has innovated a

cost-effective way of producing high-potency sodium
hypochlorite with multiple uses in & as alcohol-free hand
sanitizer, surface cleaning disinfectant, with possible use
for pesticidal solution with aim to decentralize production &
availability nationwide at the grassroot level..

Problem List
● Restricted hand sanitizer usage due to affordability
and availability
● Hand sanitizers with alcohol content prone to
combustion and some people restrict its usage due to
presence of alcohol
● Centralized production and availability of hand
sanitizers, surface disinfectants, pesticidal solutions
● Current method of producing sodium hypochlorite is
expensive

AURDINNOV BOTIX
AURDINNOV BOTIX, a registered and approved startup
under DIPP, Government of India via DIPP StartUp Record
#DIPP5478, has innovated the most cost-effective way of
producing sodium hypochlorite, a key ingredient that has
multiple uses including hand sanitizers, surface cleaning
disinfectants, pesticidal solutions.

AURDINNOV BOTIX’ vision is to decentralize the

production and availability of surface cleaning disinfectants,
hand sanitizers, pesticides at a village level while ensuring
economic viability for the producer. This is achieved by
either directly selling the end products or equipping
individuals or women self-help groups at grassroots with a
sodium hypochlorite producing units various capacity
options available) so that it can be owned, operated, and
sold locally by themselves with very minimal knowledge
and zero education required. This would go a long way in
achieving a high standard of hygiene and health safety
protocols. Our pesticidal solution leaves no harmful
residues and is soil friendly.

Certification
AURDINNOV BOTIX’ sodium hypochlorite solution has
been certified as effective by Vimta Labs, Hyderabad &
NCML, Hyderabad (attached).

Uses
An array of usages could be served by varying the PPM
level through in-built control features, which gives an
advantage and nimbleness to operators and owners of
these equipment to produce products that are in demand..

Apart from usage as surface disinfectant and hand

sanitizer, we are conducting field trials to monitor efficacy
of sodium hypochlorite as a pesticide, which would go a
long way in protecting the interest of the environment and
the farmer community.

The innovation
The sodium hypochlorite solution is manufactured using
edible salt and water as the raw material. There is a
commonly known process of producing sodium
hypochlorite from sodium chloride but it is expensive and
hazardous to the environment as well as the operator. We
have innovated a novel non-linear technique that has
reduced the process time and cost of manufacturing at a
very affordable price. The control power circuit is designed
to vary the power supplied to the process tank based on its
current saline nature. A unique method has been
developed to gauge saline nature without using sensors
and any timer-based control.

Timing
The pandemic crisis showed us the necessity of the
highest standard of personal hygiene and effectively
keeping the house, workplace, surroundings safe and
sanitized bereft of any harmful microorganisms. All of our
products are aimed at achieving the above, apart from
financially commensurating those people/team that own,
operate, produce and sell products using our units. While
the pandemic may retreat in a couple of years, the entire
population’s mindset towards personal hygiene has
severely and for good changed to this higher standard than
before which our products would readily offer.

Competition
Surface disinfectants are a crowded market, so are hand
sanitizers and pesticides. Our main USP would be
affordable pricing and decentralized production and
availability. Our cost of production of sodium hypochlorite
is around INR 0.20 whereas an average liter of
alcohol-based hand sanitizer costs around INR 150 and is
the same for the other two products too. Our sodium
hypochlorite production unit would not have any
competition as nobody else other than us has mastered
this technology.

Competitive Advantages
● Innovative technology to product sodium chloride at
just INR 0.20 per liter
● Very affordable pricing for products
● First mover advantage in sodium hypochlorite
producing units
● Decentralized production and availability
● Easily available raw materials

Revenue Model
AURDINNOV BOTIX, would be selling its products across
all available channels -B2B, B2C, DTC, B2G, B2B2C.

Future Plans
● Establish a 10 KLPD sodium hypochlorite plant to be
commissioned
● Establish a factory to manufacture standalone sodium
hypochlorite plants of various capacities
● Hire requisite manpower for all functions
● Aggressive marketing campaigns to popularize the
brand

Investment Solicited
