TITLE: Solution of the abnormal working of a mechanical probe when SCU-1400C was installed.

MODEL AFFECTED: SSD-1400

SERIAL NUMBERS AFFECTED: All that have been shipped

PURPOSE: This is to inform the abnormal working of a mechanical probe when SCU-1400C was installed
into SSD-1400 and measure to solve this.

SYMPTOM: The ultrasound image of a mechanical probe does not appear when turning the system on while
the transducer element inside of a mechanical probe is scanning very quickly.
SOLUTIONS:
1. Disconnect a cable of “CO-PSC-128-L-07C5” from a connector of “J414” on EP400800EG and
before.
2. Stick a caution label of “Do not connect a P414 to J414” to a connector of P414 to prevent
misconnection trouble.

Note: This problem was solved on EP400800EH and later. In case where EP400800EH is
incorporated in SCU-1400C, a cable of “CO-PSC-128-L-07C5” must be connected
to J414 on EP400800EH.
The serial number of SCU-1400C which EP400800EH was incorporated are as
follows.
S/N. M00322, M00338, M00339, M00391~M00397, M00411~

EP400800EH より対策されましたので、リビジョンが EH の基板の場合は、J414 へは
ケーブルを接続してください。
尚、EP400800EH が使用されている SCU-1400 の S/N は、以下の通りです。
