3. Hard-wired hand switch control

3.1 Introduction
The Exposure Hand Switch consists of a two step hand switch.
The first (1) stage of the hand switch is called the “Preparation (Prep or READY)” stage.
The second (2) stage of the hand switch is called the “Exposure (Exp or X-Ray Out)“ stage.

SWITCH 1
SWITCH 2

3.2 Exposure process

There are two ways to use the hand switch to get the exposure.

a. Press and hold the Switch #1 for longer than 1 second, which will get the “Prep or
Ready” status on, then press Switch #2 to get the “Exposure”.

b. Press and hold the Switch #1 and Switch #2 simultaneously for longer than 1 second.
This action will result in “Prep or Ready” status and “Exposure” at the same time.

6.6.5 mA calibration data check.

DIP Switches are used for following setting.

SW #1: ERROR Enable (ON)/Disable (OFF)
SW #2: Reserved
SW #3: Initialize memories (reserved)
SW #4: Calibration mode (ON)/Normal mode (Off)
For normal operation, only the DIP SW#1 must be set to ON position.
DIP SWITCH #4 on the OP BOARD PCB is set to ON position.
Then the display should indicate as follows,

3) Turn on AC switch.
