Puns
Puns are jokes that make a play on words. In this video there are some examples. It is difficult to
understand them because of the accent but, here are some of them explained since I know you like
them a lot

Min 3.35: “Hey, do you know how they call the people who sell locks on bridges like this? Locky locky
men”

Lock is the word for “candado” in Spanish, and it sounds similar to luck/lucky which means
“suerte/afortunado” so, the guy makes a play on words changing lucky for locky.

Min 1.47: “- What do you Orsay? +It’s orsome”

Since the museum they are visiting is called Orsay, the guy changes “all say” for Orsay, and the girl
changes “awesome” for orsome.

Min 6.50: “Notre DAMN, that’s a nice building”

This one is easy but, he changes dame for damn.

Min 8:58: “Luckily no one pushed me in otherwise I would have gone inSEINE”

Seine is the river that crosses France. He changes the word insane which means crazy for SEINE, since
they sound similar.
