by them, and that the directions/instructions issued by Governments concerned and orders

of Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh are followed.

S. Make sure that the poor and down-trodden sections of the Society, who have

become helpless by reason of the current Pandemic sltuations, are not starved of food. For

this purpose, coordination wlth allthe Departments concerned be contlnued.

6. Render asslstance to those affected by corona virus and who may be unable to get
the required medical facilities, by coordinating with the Health and other Government
Department concerned.

7. Extend basic necessaties to migrants, wherever required.

PT.AN OF ACTION.II

Inview of the unprecedented difficulty caused by the Corona Covid-19, the citizens in the
Country including the state ofAndhra Pradesh are in the economic crisis are need ofhelping hantl.

The Legal Services functionaries have the duty and role to extend the assistance and helping
hand to the people in need. Accordingly, so far the Legal Services lnstitutions have initiated varrous
steps in this regard.

lnview of the increasing trend of number of victinls and the crisis arising out of lockdown,
the following additional steps shall tre aken.

The Hospitals and other Medical Institutions where treatment is being given to the etfbcted
persons, be co-ordinated tn ensure proper treatmen!.

The DLSAs shall co-ordinatc with District Adnrinistration and ensure that the victims are
provided with necessary medicines, food and other amenities during their quarantine
period.
The DLSAs shall ensure interim release of prisoners in pursuance 3f the
directions of the
Hon'ble supreme court of lndia in w.p.No.1/2020 ancl the directions of Hon,ble
High court of A.p.
in W.P.No.8130/2020.

The inmates ofluvenile Home and 0bservation llome be provided necessary as.sistance
and
ensure their interim relief and ioining with their parents relatives in co-ordination
/ with the
,uvenile Justice Boards concerned,

In co-ordination and collaboration with the philanthropist institutions

and persons arrange
for distribution of provisions etc,, to the victims and their family members inview
of economic
crisis.

Ensure necessary assistance through the departmenls concerned to the inmates (}f
different
Shelter Homes.
