Chittagong Dry Dock Limited (CDDL) a state owned limited company

(formerly an enterprise of Bangladesh Steel & Engineering Corporation) came
into commercial operation in 1985. It is an ISO 9001- 2015 certified shipyard
which provides regular and emergency repair facilities to both national and
international vessels. Besides, it also constructs heavy steel structures for
various steel infrastructures. CDDL is a versatile and prolific company which
offers a wide spectrum of services in maritime industrial sectors in
Bangladesh

CDDL was handed over to Bangladesh Navy (BN) by the Honorable Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina on 23 December 2015. The Board of Directors
comprises of eminent scholars and professionals from all spheres of the
society. The performance of present management and workforce
demonstrates the spirit of dedication, hardworking and commitment to fulfill
the customers’ satisfaction. The dynamic leadership quality of the Board of
Directors in line with the vision is instrumental for its positive growth. Keeping
pace with rapidly changing global market and economic environment, it is a
critical challenge for CDDL for attaining progressive development for
sustainable growth. Amidst all challenges, CDDL remains firm and resolute to
its core values, principles and focused on quality, timeline and customers’
satisfaction.

CDDL today stands assertively to meet evolving challenges under incumbent

leadership of BN. CDDL intends to expand further with the support of its
clients, partners and key stakeholders. Its new initiatives for building naval
and commercial craft would elevate its position to a greater height.

receiving from international arena are commendable and profusely
acknowledged. I am confident that our continual effort and constant attention
