CLASS: NURSERY MONTH: NOVEMBER 2020

“I may not have time for adults, but I have enough time for children.” – Jawaharlal Nehru
Dear Parents,

A heartily welcome to the second term of this academic year!!! After the much
awaited Dussehra vacation we hope our tiny tots are completely rejuvenated and
are fully charged up for the forthcoming exciting educational experiences.

October month flew with lot of exhilaration and euphoria. Our children had
marvellous opportunities to display their talent during talk show based on
Gandhi principles and on various topics related to academics. Fun-learning
methodology, skillshare classes brought the best out of our children as the
participation and involvement of each child in the learning process was clearly
noticeable. “Experimind”– Online science experiments engrossed all the
attention of the children and our budding scientists thoroughly enjoyed the
science behind every experiment.

The month of November retrieves our children to their academic schedule along
with surfeit of festivities starting with Kannada Rajyotsava or Karnataka
formation day on 1st November. November 14th, Children’s Day is a day of hip-
hop-happy time. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Deepawali, the festival which
signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and hope
over despair is also celebrated this month with the underlying message of good
over evil. During this festive time, families come together teaching the value of
togetherness, bonding, sharing and caring thus making the world a better place
to live for us and for others.

We strongly believe that the eternal power of knowledge can influence our little
learners and help them to put their best foot forward to shape a better tomorrow
for themselves. We are fortunate enough to get the full support of the parents and
together let’s again look forward to yet another exciting month.

Warm Regards
Class Teachers Happy Children’s Day!!

Parental Tips:
“Confident people don’t let fear of failure get in their way; not because they’re
sure they won’t ever fail, but because they know how to take setbacks in stride.”

Self-esteem, a person's sense of worth is a key factor for success.

Building self-esteem is an ongoing part of parenting. When children
feel confident and secure, they're more likely to succeed.

Model confidence yourself: Parent’s actions influence the way

children feel about themselves. Seeing parents tackle new tasks with
optimism and lots of preparation sets a good example for children.
Teach that mistakes are learning experiences: Children should
realize that mistakes are the learning opportunities. They will build more
confidence when they are able to understand that all the mistakes can be
rectified. Parents should ingrain “next time you can” attitude within their
children.
Help kids find their passion: Exploring their own interests can help
kids develop a sense of identity, which is essential to build confidence.
Praise perseverance: Learning not to give up at the first frustration or
bail after one setback is an important life skill. Confidence and self-esteem
are not about succeeding at everything all the time; they’re about being
resilient enough to keep trying, and not being distressed.
Set goals: Articulating goals, large or small and achieving them makes
kids feel strong. As a parent we can turn desires and dreams of our kids
into actionable goals by encouraging them to make a list of things they’d
like to accomplish. Then, practice breaking down longer term goals into
realistic benchmarks.

Thus, parents will be validating children interest and helping them to learn the
skills they’ll need to attain their goal throughout life.

There will be no live classes and no upload of Engagement modules

Celebration Time:

Kannada Rajyotsava:
Love and respect towards our regional language Kannada is expressed from our
tiny tots by singing Kannada rhyme or Kannada slogan. To cherish this
celebration, parents can share the picture of their ward dressed in Yellow /Red
colour attire having Karnataka Flag badge on their dress.

Deepawali:
Deepawali is one of the most widely celebrated and very popular festivals among
children. Known as the ‘festival of light’, Deepawali is marked with much
excitement and gusto every year. Children eagerly wait to decorate their house
with lamps and candles after which sweets and gifts are exchanged among
families, friends and relatives.

We request parents to share Kannada Rajyotsava as well as Deepawali photos

to their respective class E-mail ID on or before 20th November 2020.
