TRANSFERRING PRESETS ON A SLIM PHATTY

WINDOWS
•Download and install MIDI-OX: http://www.midiox.com/
•Connect the Slim Phatty to your computer via USB or MIDI DIN Cable.
•Open MIDI-OX and go to Options > MIDI Devices... Highlight “Slim Phatty
for both the MIDI Inputs and MIDI Outputs windows. Deselect any other
options. Click OK to close the MIDI Devices Window.

TO SAVE PRESETS FROM THE SLIM PHATTY

I. In MIDI-OX, go to View > SysEx... In the window that opens, go to
Sysex > Receive Manual Dump...
II. On the Slim Phatty, press Master and scroll witht the Value knob until
you see Sysex Menu. Press the Cursor button to access this menu and then
use the Value knob to select either:
•Send Cur Preset (sends currently selected saved preset)
•Send Cur Panel ( sends currently edited sound)
•Send All Presets ( send entire bank of 100 presets)
III. Look for transfer confirmation in the Sysex Receive window in MIDI-OX.
Once it completes, click Done and then closet he Sysex View and Scratchpad
window. You will be prompted to save the file. Click Yes and then label and
place the sysex file wherever you wish.

TO LOAD PRESETS ONTO THE SLIM PHATTY

I. In MIDI-OX, go to View > SysEx... In the window that opens, go to
File > Send Sysex File... Select the bank or preset you wish to send and click
Open. The Slim Phatty will receive and load the file automatically.
Note: If you send an entire bank, all 100 presets will be overwritten. If you
send a single preset, it will overwrite whatever slot is currently selected.

MACINTOSH
•Download and install Sysex Librarian: http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/
•Connect the Slim Phatty to your computer via USB or MIDI DIN cable.
•Open Sysex Librarian and select ”Slim Phatty” in the Destination drop down.

TO SAVE PRESETS FROM THE SLIM PHATTY

I. In Sysex Librarian, select Record One.
II. On the Slim Phatty, press Master and scroll witht the Value knob until
you see Sysex Menu. Press the Cursor button to access this menu and then
use the Value knob to select either:
•Send Cur Preset (sends currently selected saved preset)
•Send Cur Panel ( sends currently edited sound)
•Send All Presets ( send entire bank of 100 presets)
III. The saved file will appear in the list. To change the name or move it to a
new location, select it and click on Show File.
TO LOAD PRESETS ONTO THE SLIM PHATTY
I. In Sysex Librarian, select the bank or preset you wish to load. This can be
done by either:
• Clicking Add... and selecting the file from your computer
• Dragging the file into the Sysex file list. The Slim Phatty will
receive and load the file automatically.
Note: If you send an entire bank, all 100 presets will be overwritten. If you
send a single preset, it will overwrite whatever slot is currently selected.

TO RESTORE FACTORY PRESETS

If you ever wish to reload the original factory presets on your Slim Phatty,
they are saved in deep memory. to get them back:
I. Press Master and use the Value knob to scroll to System Utilities.
II. Press Cursor and scroll to Restore Factory.
III. Press Enter, Select Yes, and Press Enter.
This procedure will reset all global parameters and load the factory presets.
