1.What were the earliest paintings about?

- The earliest painting in history is the prehistoric cave painting that have been discovered in
many parts of the world. According to the latest paleo-archeological information, the oldest
art was created by humans during the prehistoric Stone Age, between 300,000 and 700,000
years ago. The prehistoric cave painting shows how our ancestors live their lives. There is
also the ancient history paintings that tells about the beliefs and religion of the past.

2. Did different ancient civilizations have their own art?


- Yes, there are different concept of art in every civilization. The art of the ancient world
reveals a tremendous amount to modern historians about the culture, values and beliefs of
these early civilizations. Examples of this are the magnificent mosaic that was used by the
ancient Greeks, the Aztecs, the Mayans and etc. There is also the arts that used by the
greeks and romans, and also the egyptian arts. In every civilization can give birth to their
own art that can represent them as their identity to the world.

3. Why is the Nile River known as the lifeline of Egypt?


- The Nile always played a key role in the lives of Egyptians. It made living in the desert
possible, provided drinking water; it was a source of irrigation and most importantly created
fertile soil that allowed for growing crops to feed the masses. The Nile also offered an ideal
means of transport for goods. We all know that egypt is a desert land that’s why having the
nile river near them is very important that they believe that it’s a gift from their god.
4. Why did Ancient Egyptians build pyramids?

- Pyramids were built for religious purposes and the egyptians are the first civilizations to
believe in an afterlife. The tombs were designed to protect the buried Pharaoh's body and his
belongings. The Egyptians believed that if the pharaoh's body could be mummified after
death the pharaoh would live forever. The pyramids were built by slaves or foreigners forced
into labor. Many historians still don’t know how did the egyptians build it perfectly. Others
believed that the aliens help them build it, but still until now there is no concrete evidence
how they build it.

5. Differentiate Greek architecture from Roman Architecture

- Greek and Roman architecture have their own differences such as purposes and concept in
structures. Ancient Roman temples were among the most important buildings in Roman
culture. They prefer making it even more decorative and elaborate than the Greeks had.
Greek temples interiors serve as meeting places, since the sacrifices and rituals dedicated to
the respective deity took place outside them. Greeks build their structures for the purpose of
having a political celebrations that can accomodate everyone. As a Civil Engineering student
i like to try to design a roman like architectures because of their sophisticated designs that
can inspire people.
