Strategy: WORD ANALYSIS

Objective: I will identify different parts of vocabulary words using a word

analysis chart.

Directions: For each vocabulary word you will include the following:

- Definition (if the word has multiple definitions, use the one you think works best
with NARRATIVE writing)
- Latin/Greek Root using this Latin and Greek Root Spreadsheet
- Spanish Cognate (If possible)
- Note: this does not mean a Spanish Translation. See notes on Cognates!
- Synonym
