It is an honor and privilege to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Macey

Cook. My name is Devin Wieser and I have known Macey for the last sixteen years and
have been present in her life in many facets. I have been a caretaker, vocal teacher,
fellow performer, and friend. In the years I have known her, she has shown immense
growth both in her personal and professional life. I have seen her take on many
challenges and learned from them all.
Macey has shown, from a very young age, a budding talent and a passion for all things
performing. She was always, and still is, striving for perfection and meets every
challenge she is faced with head on. As a vocal coach, I gave her obstacle after obstacle
and each time she met or exceeded my expectations. Never in my thirteen years of
teaching, have I seen the tenacity and courage of a performer her age step on the stage
and give all she has every time.
As a fellow performer, I can say with certainty that Macey is one of the most professional
and consistent actors I have had the pleasure of working alongside. She shows
professionalism that exceeds that of some of the adults I work with. She is always
prepared, and I know one hundred percent that I can trust her both off and on the stage.
She continues to amaze me with her ability to take on different characters such as Elsa
in Frozen, Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical, Wednesday Addams in The Addams
Family and Annie in ANNIE, among many others. Not only does she impress me with
her ability to transform herself so effortlessly, but it is her ambition and aptitude that
impress me the most. Having the opportunity to see Macey grow not only as a
performer, but as a person has been an absolute pleasure. I am extremely proud of the
person she is and have no doubt that her determination, dedication, and extraordinary
abilities will make her a great addition to any program.
