una tragedia en el mar. Leonardo di Caprio y Kate Winslet son magníficos, interpretando a
dos amantes. Juntos, luchan contra las divisiones de clases y el celoso Billy Zane, como el
prometido humillado de Kate. Una película fenomenal con magníficos efectos de

computadora que dan una verdadera sensación de drama mientras el gran barco se hunde.
Larga a las tres horas, pero merece la pena.

¡George Lucas es fantástico! La acción tiene lugar antes de las tres primeras películas, lo que
la convierte en la "precuela". Cuenta con un joven Obi Wan, Darth Vader y Yoda, además
del malvado Senador Palpatine, un miembro del Senado Imperial, que busca tomar el control
de la República Galáctica a través de medios tortuosos. Jar Jar es bastante irritante, pero los
efectos son asombrosos y emocionarán tanto a los fanáticos serios como a los recién llegados.

1 Andrew Carnegie nació en 1835 en Escocia. Él era de una familia pobre. Cuando tenía
doce años, su familia se mudó a los Estados Unidos. Querían una vida mejor.
2 La familia Carnegie vivía en Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andrew comenzó a trabajar de
inmediato. Consiguió un trabajo en una fábrica. Era un buen trabajador, pero no le gustaba el
trabajo. Más tarde, cambió de trabajo. Trabajó en la Pennsylvania Railroad Company. A

Presentatión- Michoacán

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It’s an honour to have the opportunity to address such a
distinguished audience.
Let me introduce ourselves. We are Eduardo Martinez and Cesar Estevez from UTSEM in
Tejupilco, State of Mexico
As you can see on the screen, our topic today is “Michoacán, a beautiful place”
My talk is particularly relevant to those of you who want to visit said state.
Today I’d like to give you an overview of the state of Michoacán.
We have organized this talk in the following way location, food and typical products of the
region.
I'll start with the location.
 Michoacán, is located in the central-western portion of the Mexican Republic. Limited
to the north with the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato, to the northwest with the state of
Querétaro, to the east with the states of Mexico and Guerrero, to the west with the
Pacific Ocean and the states of Colima and Jalisco, to the south with the Pacific Ocean
and the state of Guerrero.
Second, I will focus on typical food.
 Michoacan style carnitas
It is pork cooked in large copper cauldrons
Whose secret of its exquisite flavor is the pork made in its own butter.
 Tarascan soup
Typical food from Michoacán that talks about the history of the área.
 Enchiladas
Enchiladas made with corn tortillas are part of the typical and traditional meals of
Michoacán and the country.
 Guacamole
The sauce to eat snacks or to accompany any dish is Michoacán-style guacamole.
 Churipo
Delicious thick textured broth with red chili peppers, meat and vegetables
 Morisqueta
Dish made with cooked white rice and refried beans
 Pozole beaten
Broth prepared with shelled red corn and cooked with garlic and onion, to which pork is
added
 Charales
In Michoacán they are one of the typical foods, since it is a producing state
 Carnita tacos
The meat used in this typical meal of Michoacán is pork ribs in pieces

DISH RECIPE MICHOACÁN STYLE PORK BEANS

Delicious dish full of nutrients and vitamins.

It is prepared with beans cooked until soft, then seasonings such as onion, garlic,
coriander, green chilies are added; boil slightly to add sliced ham, pork sausage and pork
bacon.

Boil for 20 minutes and turn off. For more color you can add chipotle chilies and if you
like them spicy, you could add dried chilies.

Finally, I will deal with the products of the region.

 Michoacán is a world leader in avocado production, this means that 8 out of 10
avocados consumed in Mexico are produced in Michoacán.
 Michoacán produces more than 60 percent of the national strawberry
 Michoacán also produces lemon and carrot but the most produced product is avocado.
