Actionable Feedback
*Be more clear about the directions in the plan. Finding a good balance from the plan to what you can use
when actually teaching—i.e. sticky notes.
*Make sure you are set and ready to go a little before you are going to start with kids—timer up, board

2a—making sure to slow down a bit between sections of the lesson to check in with students to see if
they understand directions, if they have any questions, etc.
Engaging students during 4 minutes—(i.e. checking in with students to see if they are adding their to
their drawing)—if students are done early -ideas for high expectations. For example, having one
student add a sentence about their drawing. Or if students are not done, make sure they are on task.
2f Finding ways to get more students to be able to participate. For example, have all students quick
share the name of the animal they drew and show whiteboard. Select 2-3 to share “why” they selected
their animal.
