Statement of At the very outset the researcher must single out the problem he wants to
the study that is he must decide the general area of interest or aspect of a subject-
problem:   matter that he would like to inquire into. In this research too the area of
interest or the aspect has been selected i.e. “Use of ERP in an Organization” ,
which became the basis for the research.
Objectives The project was undertaken to get the real exposure of corporate culture and
of the market research. The project was provided by POLARIS SOFTWARE LAB.

USES AND BENEFITS IN AN ORGANIZATION SUB OBJECTIVES: - ?
To study about SAP ? To study about SAP R/3 SD module. It’s cycle,
functionality and integration with other modules. ? Comparing In-house
Developed ERP with Branded ERP with reference to business fitment, cost,
ease of use, etc. ? Trying to find out what are the criteria’s that companies
look into before selecting an ERP.
