Introduction
The search for another internet services provider in the Philippines has been badly needed due

to the slow internet connection provided by the other telcos here in the Philippines and it has

been debating on what will be another internet services provider should be brought to

the Philippines. This new internet services provider may enable to progressively improve

the internet speed connections and improvement of the internet services to the Filipinos in

the country. This study will therefore help in humbly acknowledging the

fundamental need for another internet services provider in the Philippines and how and why we

typically need a new internet services provider. The research, therefore, will sufficiently address

the needs of another internet services provider essentially needed in the areas where there is a

slow internet connection. This concept builds upon several recommendations that have been

enthusiastically recommended by several internet experts and network experts to adequately

fulfill the need of conveniently having another internet services provider in the

Philippines. However, the perspective of it is to synchronize the essential and

liable internet provider to overcome the progressive perspective of the community which is

positively the provider of reliable internet overwhelm the consistent success of his perspective of

the active community.

Need for this study

It is said that the Philippines are the “social media capital of the world” due to the Filipinos that

are always active on different social media platforms. As of January 2020, it is estimated that 73

million Filipino people have access to the internet, accounting for more than half of the

population mostly belong to the age group of 16 years old and above. However, in the recent
Ookla speed test, the Philippines average internet is about 12.09 Mbps is significantly very far

below the global mobile internet download speed of 30.89 Mbps. The country’s average fixed

broadband internet download speed of 21.00 Mbps also falls below the global fixed broadband

internet download speed of 39.62 Mbps. These results show that the Philippines are far from

having a stable and efficient internet connection. The concept will therefore identify the valuable

factors that need establishing another internet services provider in the Philippines.

Background
Several studies including local and foreign studies concluded that the philippines has the second

lowest internet speed connection in the whole asia-pacific region. As a result (Akamai 2017)

concluded that the Philippines had the slowest average connection speed of just 4.5 Mbps

(megabits per second), followed by India with 5.6 Mbps. According to OOKLA’s Speedtest

Global Index, The main reason why this country is still branded with its slow internet speed is

due to the fact that the country severely lacks cell sites and there are only about 16, 400 cell sites

in the country that serves up an estimated 67 million internet users in the country. In order, to

achieve the fastest internet connection in the philippines the government advises that more cell

towers are need to build in different parts of the country to improve the internet speed connection

for the filipinos.

Objective
The concept paper seeks to achieve its general objective of another internet provider to gain an

advantage of perspective by the users of internet connections which is 73 million Filipino users

of a variety of using the internet services by focusing on the following specific objectives:
1. To determine the influence of internet services characteristics (reachability, convenience,

and compatibility) on the internet service provider to perspective advantage by local-

based.

2. To assess the potential internet speed of the new internet services provider for the

filipinos in the philippines.

3. To establish more internet services providers in the philippines.

Research questions and or hypothesis

1. Does personal innovativess influences for another internet services provider to gain

perspective advantage in philippines

2. Does another internet provider characteristics(reachability, convenience, and

compatibility) influence the new internet provider to gain perspective in philippines.

Research Methodology
The study intends to use cross sectional survey designt in determining the another internet

services provider in philippines.

The study will collect the primary data, and the quantitative data generated wol be analyzed

useing descriptive statistics which will include percentage distribution, mean and the frequency

counts.
Research Timeline
The project is expected tobe completed in 14 days with the folloing indicated as the activity’s
durations for every section of the Concept projects.
