    Covid-19’ Global Effects

    Nowadays, the world is facing with the novel covid-19 virus. Because this virus is
    contagious, there are new but strict rules that people should follow on this process such as
    staying at homes, practicing social distancing, using masks etc. Obviously, these rules,
    which are implemented by sensitive people to come through this process as soon as
    possible, have made a lot of effects on humanity globally such as working or studying at
    home, disrupting global supply chains, lots of people being quitted work and more.

    To begin with, some people have started to work remotely while the others unfortunately
    have been quitted work. So, a lot of people have no salary in this severe pandemic. To solve
    this problem, some governments support these people whenever possible. For example,
    ‘’Applications for unemployment benefits are made through the e-Government
    “Unemployment Allowance / Job Loss Compensation Application” page or by going
    directly to the İŞKUR branch in the district where the institution you are leaving is
    located1.’’(2020, CNNTurk) in turkey. In conclusion, the governments’ economy has been
    fluctuating because of increasing unemployment rate.

    Besides, when the sectors whose people being quitted work have been considered;
    stagnation, disruption, even degree of halting can be observed on this process. Some most
    affected ones are global automotive industry, textile, cruise ships sectors, tourism,
    hospitality, and aviation sector. Those are the sectors that mostly depend on human
    behavior. That’s why most of them have been affected in a bad way and have come the
    brink of stop with the lockdown. In conclusion, most of the country’s economy is not in a
    good condition especially the countries that depend on exports such as china and India
    right now.

    In summary, because of the novel covid-19 spread, new rules have come to the human life.
    The aim of the rules is decreasing spread and less mortality in the human population.
    Meanwhile, there are also disadvantages of this lockdown and process. Now the interaction
    not only between people but also courtiers has almost disappeared. Besides, while
    consumption has been continuing, production has almost stopped. That’s why, some
    problems started to arise especially in some sectors’ areas. In brief, novel covid-19 does
    more harm than good in terms of globalization.
