Ques 1) The author portrays the ‘fitting room’ as space of awakening.

Is
self-image related to fitness? How do you think this is portrayed in the
article?
Ans) “It’s not what you say out of your mouth that determines your life,
it’s what you whisper to yourself that has the most power!” – Robert
Kiyosaki. Self-image is in its basic form an internalized mental picture
you have of yourself. It is how you think and feel about yourself based on
your appearance, performance and relationships that consistently
impact your outlook on life as well as your level of happiness and
fulfilment.
Appearance, performance, and relationships all are associated with
fitness, and by fitness, I mean a Healthy lifestyle. Good physical and
mental health has numerous benefits. Lower rates of anxiety, higher self
esteem and even more trusting and cooperative relationships.
Therefore, Fitness will help to build a healthy self-image.
The relationship between self-image and fitness was flawlessly drafted
in the article. Her negligence towards healthy diet from the early age
slowly caught her up. Her amusing techniques to ignore her weight did
not lasted as she was encountered with an emotional breakdown in
‘fitting room’. This breakdown signifies her mental condition and self-
image also, this breakdown was the space of awakening. Now let us
move to the physically and mentally stable phase of her life. She is happy
successful and highly motivated to achieve more. Lack of fitness held
her down whole life and that all changed when she decided it to change.
The story of overcoming the challenges of such a lifestyle change can
help us all understand that fitness can play a role to achieve happier
lives.
