9 Weeks Exam Review

-Classical Guitar Parts Review all the names, their function, and where they are located on the guitar.

-Basic Music Notation (treble clef, g clef, staff, measures, musical alphabet(abcdefg), how to read the
notes on the staff [lines & spaces])

-Fingerings (left & right hand) p, i, m, a, 4, 3, 2, 1, c

-Basic Notes/Values (whole note, half note, dotted half note, quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note,
note head, stem flag, beats)

-Basic Rests/Values (whole rest, dotted whole rest, half rest, dotted half rest, dotted rest, quarter rest,

dotted quarter rest, eighth rest, dotted eighth rest, sixteenth rest)

-Posture (correct vs incorrect, points of contact, etc.)

-Basic Rhythms (counting) (I may have you play/count 8 measures and submit)

-Playing (I may have you play/count 8 measures and submit)

Definitely keep practicing the rhythms, as that will take some time to get better. The important thing is

to practice S-L-O-W-L-Y.
