Task 1: Installation of server operating system

1. Connect necessary’s peripheral device of server computer & make ready for server os
installation
2. Make ready other 2 computers by installing OS & necessary software on them
3. Installed windows server 2003 operating system on the server computer
4. Installed necessary drivers for device
5. Established connection among the server and client
6. Configure the server as DNS and active directory

2. Server administration and security configuration

1. Create a group of computer using two group name FINANCE and ADMINISTRATION AND
make sure that a client computers joined the groups

2. Create users and passwords for the two groups as follows

A. for finance group users (cocuser1 & cocuser2) password (user1 and user user2) respectively

B. for Administration group users (cocuser3 & cocuser4) password (user3 and user user4)
respectively

3. Create user privilege to change their passwords at firs log in for user (cocuser3 & cocuser4)

4. Set the access limitation time for the Finance group users to access the network from
Monday –Friday from 8AM to 5pm only

5. Add (join) the Client computers to the domain COC.local

6. Turn on windows firewall for the server computer
