ANSWERS

(a) After a customer has successfully placed an order, as an online shopper I will send the invoice to
that customer. Then he or she will reply by giving a notification that he has accept showing that
he/she is a real customer intended to purchase online. Upon delivery of products, I will make
sure that I know the destination and then I deliver on time for customer to be convinced next
time again. In order for me as an online shopper to have confidence that the customer will pay
for the products, I will ensure that a deposit is paid and then set a clear negotiable dates for full
payments. This will visible and realistic to both of us.

(b) Nowadays the coming of new technology has really influence our social life and behavior in the
following ways:

- The way we communicate with one another is more essential. With the introduction of
smartphones and also what’s up media you can see me as I see you from different places
with each other as we converse.
- Today, many learners behavior have changed tremendously. With different sites placed
online you will find the youths visiting the online site and view bad sites. For example the
issue of pornographic videos. These are not good in the eyes of the society we live in.
- Also, introduction of new technology in ICT has increased the productivity of a business
entity by use of machine to do huge task. This has greatly impacted the economy and thus
the stakeholders of a company receive more returns.
- Lastly, the behavior in our society has changed with issues like that of hackers, piracy and
fraud. Many people in our society suffer a big blow especially the illiterate who ICT wizards
take advantage of.
(c)
(i) E-University is basically a virtual blended learning whereby learners from any
geographical place can register to be enrolled. It gives every student an opportunity of
wide range of programs that they are interested in. It uses special software for the
purpose of learning.

(ii) The effect of E-University to all stakeholders is that the E-University makes higher
education more accessible, engaging and beneficial for people everywhere.
It also gives the stakeholders more convenient and cheaper method of learning and other
functions.
It provides real time services.
(iii) The stakeholders are students, instructors and E-learning administrators, the staff,
community and Government.
- Students- Nowadays many courses are offered in online sites.
- Instructors- Sometimes in order to reach a large number of students then an instructor will
use e-learning.
- E-learning administrators- They manage all entire data for organization (University).

(iv) Yeah, we still need traditional lectures because:

- Traditional lecture is the best way of impacting knowledge to students since it involves more
practical teaching. This will make it easier for the lecture to know if the student actually has
understood and also physical participation will be highly established.
- Also still traditional lecture will exist because some students cannot manage to have the
necessity or materials required for e-learning. For example the use of laptops and
smartphones.
- Traditional lecture will be needed most in the situation whereby some regions have no
power. This is because online or e-learning in university requires places where you can have
a backup in case of power loss.
