My son Miles liked to play hide and seek but it was terrible for him, i Will tell you
the reasons:
 He always told me his hiding place When he hid he would not stop laughing
 Let´s talk about envy at work
 When a person does not like or does not agree with something, they should
go talk to that person and solve things by talking like adults. But on the
contrary, what he usually does is go search and talk to other people about
it.

HOW THE DRAMA START IN THE WORKPLACE


 Employee #1: does not like what employee #2 said or did
 The employee #1: instead of speaking like adults and civilized people
with the employee with whom he has a dislike, seeks the employee
#3 a colleague or friend to talk about that topic
 Employee #3: always tends to respond in the same way as employee
#1 this is how the drama begins in the workplace

This triangle of drama can be detected at any time or place in your everyday life
roles of the drama triangle.
 Employee #1: the victim – this is how he sees himself
 Employee #3: he is hurting me in some way, he is called the savior,
this is how he sees himself “my colleague needs my help, my advice,
he needs my help and understanding”
These are lies since it is only for 2 reasons:
1. It is Good that they include you in the gossip
2. I´m glad gossip ins´t about me

 Employe #2: his name is “the Stalker”, this is how the other parts of
the triangle see him (bad person, bad duy)

These charts are very easy to form in a company since employee #1 is easier to
find someone who tells him that he is right than to have an uncomfortable
conversation.
HOW NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE DISCUSSIONS
You have to consider:
“the definition of backbiting is speaking in a negative way about a person who is
not present”
The 3 filter test: it involves 3 questions
 Do you know if what you are going to tell me about my friend is true?
 Is what you are going to tell me about my friend something Good?
 What are you going to tell me, is it something useful?

After the person answers these 3 questions, you Will know if what they are going to
say deserves you to listen to it.
By following these steps you Will know how not to get involved in gossip in the
workplace and when you are involved.
